Brooklyn Artist Transforms NYC Subway Tiles with Living Art, Going Viral

See more of our coverage in your search results. Cracks aren’t wack. The MTA is more than a transit system for New Yorkers — it’s a lifeline that keeps the city going. But with over 8 million residents and riders, things are bound to break. Now, one Brooklyn artist has uncovered a way to turn at least one of the system’s structural flaws into art — a cracked tile at a time. Eujue, no last name, recently went viral on social media with a post that snagged over a million views — showing her replacing a broken “E” tile at Delancey St.-Essex St. station, on Manhattan’s Lower East Side. Eujue is an artist replacing missing subway tiles with art in New York City @eu.pottery/TikTokThe tile wasn’t restored with the boring black text. Instead, Eujue exchanged it with her own live creation — a ceramic square where the “E” is made with living chia plants. Eujue told The Post she got the idea after remembering a poem she read back in college — All Watched Over by Machines of Loving Grace, by Richard Brautigan. “This speculative world described a future where plants, animals, and technology coexisted in harmony. This pushed me to want to build speculative objects that existed in a post apocalyptic future; a world where plants reclaim spaces that were once theirs,” the nature-loving New Yorker told The Post.Brooklyn artist, Eujue, aims to make everyday places feel more cared for and connected @eu.pottery/TikTokThe Brooklynite doesn’t want missing tiles to be seen as a maintenance problem anymore. She encouraged artists to be inspired by this moment to “shape the city around them.”“NYC has always been a place where artists shape the city’s culture, and I hope our public spaces can reflect that. I’d love to make the everyday places we move through feel more cared for and more connected to the people who live here,” she said.Delancey St. was just the beginning. Eujue made the ceramic E tile with chia seeds which grew into plants @eu.pottery/TikTokEujue and her brother built NYC Tile Watch — a website where New Yorkers can report missing or damaged subway tiles. The site was created so routine subway upkeep and public art could coexist. Once a report is made, local artists can fix the broken tiles by turning them into their own creation, bringing life into the dingy subway stations. The movement is gaining traction — even catching the attention of Mayor Mamdani. Eujue said she is currently in conversations with the Mayor’s team and the MTA — about how NYC Tile Watch could potentially develop into a formal program. As of today, the Korean-American said that her site has accumulated 24 approved reports. Subway riders can fill out a public interest form which will help gauge local artist interest in NYC Tile Watch website.“The missing “E” tile was a small change, but it made me think about how many overlooked spaces we pass by everyday,” the artist. The widely-shared TikTok that made Eujue famous already has thousands of comments supporting and celebrating her movement — and making her a bit of a superstar on her socials. In just a week, Eujue has gained thousands of likes, a plethora of new followers and become a local “subway hero.”The Brooklyn artist built the NYC Tile Watch website where locals can report damaged tiles @eu.pottery/TikTok“This is NYC. Art moves our city I love it, it’s soooo NYC,” one user gushed.Another chimed in, offering to do what New Yorkers do best — help. “What if we New Yorkers pitch in watering them too! That way they live a little longer,” they said. For Eujue, it’s just the beginning. The Gothamite told The Post she’s working hard to make sure New Yorkers and visitors feel a kinship to the space that surrounds them. “I’d love to make the everyday places we move through feel more cared for and more connected to the people who live here,” she said.

The Shocking Discovery at My Late Wife’s Cabin That Unraveled a Family Plot New

The Shocking Discovery at My Late Wife’s Cabin That Unraveled a Family Plot

I drove to my late wife’s lake cabin to fix a leaking roof and found my son-in-law’s parents unloading a U-Haul into it. When I demanded to know what they were doing, his father cracked open a beer, smirked, and said, “My son gave us the code. This place is going to be ours anyway.” Eleven minutes later, the sheriff pulled into the driveway, and that was when I realized this was much bigger than an unwanted move-in.I drove to Lake Norman on a cloudy Tuesday morning because the porch roof on my late wife’s cabin had started leaking. That was supposed to be the whole trip.Replace a few damaged shingles. Check the flashing. Clear the gutters before the next storm rolled in.Instead, when I turned onto the gravel driveway, I found a U-Haul backed up against the porch. For a few seconds, I honestly thought I had taken the wrong road. Then I saw my son-in-law’s parents carrying furniture through the front door.Richard Cole came down the steps holding a table lamp.He saw my truck, set the lamp down, opened a beer from a cooler, and smiled.“Morning, Martin.”I got out slowly.“What are you doing?”His wife, Helen, appeared in the doorway holding a box labeled KITCHEN.Richard took a long drink.“Moving in.”I stared at him.“This is my cabin.”He shrugged.“Gavin gave us the door code.”Gavin was his son.My daughter Sophie’s husband.“He doesn’t own this property.”Richard smiled like I was arguing over a technicality.“Sophie’s going to inherit it anyway. Gavin said the paperwork is already being handled.”The cabin had belonged to my wife, Julia, and me for decades. Her father built the original structure in the 1970s. Julia and I later expanded it, rebuilt the dock, added a screened porch, and bought the wooded parcel beside it so no developer could squeeze another house against the property.Julia had been gone for 3 years.I had barely changed anything inside. Her blue raincoat still hung beside the mudroom. Her favorite coffee mug still sat by the sink.A paperback with a folded corner remained on the nightstand. The cabin was the one place where I could walk through a door and still feel close to her.Now Richard and Helen were unloading a sectional sofa into it.I walked toward the porch.Richard stepped slightly in front of me.“Martin, there’s no reason to make this ugly.”That sentence bothered me immediately.“What exactly did Gavin tell you?”“That Sophie is taking ownership early.”“She isn’t.”“He said everything’s being transferred.”“No.”Richard frowned.“Well, apparently you changed your mind.”“I didn’t.”I moved around him and entered the code Julia and I had used for years.Nothing happened.I tried again.Still nothing. Then I entered the last 4 digits of Gavin’s phone number. The keypad flashed green. The door unlocked.I stood there staring at it.Gavin had changed the code to my late wife’s cabin without saying a word to me.That ended the conversation.I took out my phone.Richard laughed.“You calling Sophie?”“No.”At 10:26 a.m., I called the Iredell County Sheriff’s Office and reported that people had entered trust-owned property, changed the access code, and begun moving in without permission.Richard shook his head.“You’re seriously calling the sheriff on family?”I looked directly at him.“I’m calling because someone changed the locks on property they don’t own.”Eleven minutes later, a sheriff’s SUV came down the driveway.Deputy Evan Brooks stepped out.He was calm and careful. He asked everyone to stay outside while he figured out who actually controlled the property.I retrieved a folder from my truck.Inside were copies of the tax records and the certificate for the Mercer Family Trust.Julia and I had transferred the cabin into the trust 12 years earlier. When she di:ed, I became the sole acting trustee.Sophie was the beneficiary who would eventually receive the property after my de:ath.Until then, I controlled it.Gavin had no ownership interest at all.Deputy Brooks reviewed everything. Then he looked at Richard.“Do you have anything showing you were authorized to move in?”Richard hesitated. Then he smiled.“As a matter of fact, yes.”He walked to his truck and returned with a folded packet. He handed it to the deputy.Evan read the first page. His expression changed. Then he looked at me.“Mr. Mercer, have you seen this?”I took the document. It was a recorded deed transferring the cabin and adjoining acreage from the Mercer Family Trust to Sophie and Gavin Cole. But my signature wasn’t on the deed.Gavin’s was.He had signed it:Gavin Cole, Successor Trustee of the Mercer Family Trust. My stomach tightened.“I never appointed Gavin successor trustee.”Richard folded his arms.“Gavin said it was all legal.”Deputy Brooks flipped through the supporting documents. There was a certification stating that I had become medically incapable of serving as trustee.Attached to it was another document. An appointment of successor trustee.According to that paper, I had signed it 8 days earlier, naming Gavin to take over if I became incapacitated. My signature appeared at the bottom.I had never signed it.A notary acknowledgment claimed I had personally appeared that day.Eight days earlier, I had been 140 miles away attending my brother’s retirement dinner.I had photographs.Restaurant receipts. And 11 relatives who had spent the evening with me.I called my attorney.Laura Chen had handled Julia’s estate and our trust for years. She answered quickly.“Martin?”“I’m at the lake house. Someone has recorded a deed claiming Gavin is successor trustee.”There was a pause.“Did you appoint him?”“No.”“What documents are they using?”I read the dates.I heard typing. Then Laura’s voice changed.“Don’t sign anything. Don’t agree to anything.”“What did you find?”“The deed was recorded last Friday.”I looked at Richard. His beer had stopped halfway to his mouth.Laura continued.“And there’s another issue.”“What?”“A lender contacted the trust’s mailing address yesterday requesting verification for a proposed loan against the property.”“How much?”“$320,000.”For a moment, all I could hear was water hitting the dock.“Has anything funded?”“I don’t know yet.”She paused.“I’m coming to you.”Laura arrived about 30 minutes later.Deputy Brooks had asked Richard and Helen to stop unloading while the dispute was being documented.Their furniture remained stacked near the U-Haul.Laura photographed the deed, the supposed trustee appointment, and the incapacity certification. Then she called the lender.Fortunately, the $320,000 loan was still in underwriting. No money had been released. The lender had not completed final title verification.Once Laura provided proof that I was alive, competent, and disputing Gavin’s authority, the application was placed on immediate hold.I thought that was bad enough. Then Laura opened one of the supporting documents.“Martin, look at this.”It was a physician’s certification. The letter claimed I had cog:nitive im:pairment severe enough that I could no longer manage trust assets.I looked at the doctor’s name. Then looked again.Dr. Harold Price.Julia’s former oncologist.Laura noticed my expression.“You know him?”“Yes.”“Did he ever treat you?”“No.”“Did he ever examine you?”“No.”“Could he have signed this?”I stared at her.“Harold di:ed 18 months ago.”Laura went silent.Deputy Brooks heard me.Until then, he had treated the situation cautiously because family property disputes can become complicated.A medical letter supposedly signed by a de:ad doctor was different. He asked to see the document. Then he called an investigator.Richard’s face went pale.Helen sat down on one of the moving boxes.Twenty minutes later, a black SUV came down the driveway.Sophie climbed out first. My daughter looked terrified.Gavin stepped out behind her.He looked irritated. That bothered me immediately.A man arriving to discover for:ged trust documents carrying his name should have looked confused.Gavin looked inconvenienced.Sophie hurried toward me.“Dad, please. Can we talk?”I held up the deed.“Did you know about this?”She froze. Her eyes went to Gavin.“Sophie.”She started crying.“I signed some papers.”“What papers?”“Gavin brought me a packet 2 weeks ago. He told me Laura had prepared it.”Laura looked up sharply.Sophie continued.“He said you were updating the trust and confirming what I would inherit later.”“Did you read everything?”Her face crumpled.“No.”Gavin cut in.“She knew what she was signing.”Sophie turned on him.“You showed me signature pages on the tablet and said they were beneficiary forms.”“You could have read them.”“You told me Laura sent them.”Laura stepped forward.“Sophie, did I ever contact you about transferring this cabin?”“No.”“Did I ever send Gavin documents naming him successor trustee?”“No.”“Did your father ever tell you he was stepping down?”“No.”Sophie wiped her face.“I thought I was signing forms confirming I was still the beneficiary.”That explained how Gavin had obtained her genuine signature on part of the package. It was careless. But it was not the same as knowingly helping him take the property.I looked at Gavin.“Where did my signature come from?”He crossed his arms.“I don’t know.”“You filed paperwork saying I appointed you.”“I sent paperwork to a filing service.”“That isn’t an answer.”“I didn’t create everything myself.”Laura opened her laptop.“The lender voluntarily sent copies of the submitted electronic files after we reported suspected fra:ud.”Gavin’s expression changed slightly.Laura continued.“The trustee appointment and incapacity packet were generated from a user account associated with Cole Ridge Development.”That was Gavin’s company. He shook his head.“Employees use company computers.”Laura nodded.“That may be true.”Then she closed the laptop slightly.“But it gives investigators a very specific place to start.”Then Helen spoke.“Gavin, tell them why.”He turned sharply.“Mom.”She was crying.“You said nobody was going to get hurt.”“Stop talking.”“You said the loan was temporary until the development deal closed.”Laura looked at her.“What development deal?”Helen reached into her purse. She pulled out a glossy folder.Gavin stepped forward.“Mom, don’t.”Deputy Brooks moved between them.Helen handed the folder to Laura. The cover showed an architectural rendering of luxury lakefront homes.I recognized the shoreline immediately. My shoreline.Laura opened the folder.Inside was a conditional purchase agreement.A developer had offered $1.8 million for the cabin and adjoining acreage. The agreement listed the seller as:Gavin Cole, Successor Trustee of the Mercer Family Trust.Closing was scheduled for the following Monday, subject to final title clearance.I stared at the page. The $320,000 loan wasn’t the endgame. It was bridge financing.Gavin needed cash immediately to keep his struggling company alive while he waited for the $1.8 million sale to clear. If the fal:se trustee documents survived long enough, he expected the title company to treat him as the person authorized to sell.Sophie looked at her husband.“You were selling my parents’ cabin?”“It was going to be yours eventually.”“My father is still alive.”“You don’t understand how much money is tied up in that property.”“It isn’t your money.”“We’re married.”“That does not make my father’s property yours.”Gavin exhaled sharply.“Martin barely uses the place. The land is worth more than the cabin itself. The offer was good.”I stared at him.“You decided that because you thought my property was worth more to you than it was to me, you could take it?”“I was trying to protect Sophie’s future.”“No.”Sophie’s voice suddenly became steady.“You were trying to save your company.”Everyone looked at her.She pulled out her phone.“I found something else.”Gavin went still.Sophie opened a message thread.“I checked your messages after your mother called me.”She handed me the phone. There was a message Gavin had sent Richard that morning.Get settled today. Once Martin sees you’re already there, he may stop fighting the transition.Richard had replied:And if he still refuses?Gavin’s answer came 2 minutes later. Then the incapacity documents handle it.Nobody spoke.Richard looked sick.Helen covered her mouth.Sophie stared at her husband.“You planned this.”Gavin shook his head.“You’re taking private messages out of context.”“What context makes that okay?”He had no answer.Deputy Brooks spoke calmly.“You’re not under arrest right now, Mr. Cole, but investigators are on their way and they’ll want to speak with you. If you decide to leave, I need your current address and contact information.”Gavin looked toward his SUV.Then at Sophie. Then at his parents. He stayed.Laura kept making calls. The lender formally suspended the $320,000 application. The title company handling the proposed $1.8 million sale was notified that Gavin’s trustee authority was disputed. The developer’s attorney was informed that the supporting trust documents appeared frau:dulent.Without clean title and verified trustee authority, the sale could not close.Within hours, the entire plan began collapsing.Over the next several days, the financial motive became clearer.Gavin’s development company was in serious trouble. Two projects had stalled.Investors were demanding repayment.A commercial lender had threatened legal action.Gavin had personally guaranteed several debts. He needed cash quickly. Then he looked at my cabin. The land Julia and I had bought decades earlier was now worth close to $2 million. To Gavin, it wasn’t where Julia had taught Sophie to swim.It wasn’t where we had celebrated birthdays. It wasn’t where Julia and I used to drink coffee on the dock every summer morning. It was an asset. An asset he believed Sophie would eventually inherit. And somewhere along the way, he convinced himself that taking it early wasn’t really taking it at all.Richard and Helen claimed Gavin had told them I had already agreed to transfer the cabin.Maybe part of that was true. But the messages made it impossible for them to claim complete innocence. Before they left, Richard approached me.Their belongings had been loaded back into the U-Haul.“We didn’t know everything,” he said.“You knew I hadn’t invited you here.”He said nothing.“You knew I didn’t give you the code.”Silence.“You knew there was a chance I would refuse.”Richard looked down.“Gavin said you were becoming forgetful.”“And you believed him?”He hesitated. That hesitation told me enough. There are lies people believe because they are convincing. Then there are lies people choose to believe because the lie gives them something they want.In Richard’s case, it gave him a lake house. That evening, I found Sophie sitting alone on the dock. She had been crying for hours.I sat beside her.Neither of us spoke for a while. Finally she said, “You’re never going to trust me again.”“You signed documents you didn’t read.”“I know.”“You should have called me.”“I know.”“You should have called Laura.”“I know.”She stared at the water.“I thought Gavin was helping you with estate planning. He showed me an email with Laura’s name on it.”Laura later confirmed that the email was fa:ke.Sophie continued.“I knew his company had money problems. I didn’t know how bad they were.”“Did he ever ask you to talk to me about selling the cabin?”“Several times.”“And?”“I told him you weren’t selling.”“Why didn’t you tell me he kept asking?”She wiped her face.“Because I thought he was just stressed.”Then her voice broke.“I never imagined he would try to make you legally disappear while you were still alive.”That sentence stayed with me.Because that was exactly what Gavin had tried to do.Not physically erase me.Legally erase me.Turn me from trustee into an incompetent old man whose objections could be ignored.Replace my authority with his. Then use my own property to rescue his business.Within the week, Sophie separated from him.She later told me the marriage ended the moment she read his message to Richard.Once Martin sees you’re already there, he may stop fighting the transition.“He didn’t see you as my father,” she said.“He saw you as an obstacle.”The investigation lasted much longer than that Tuesday afternoon.Real life doesn’t wrap itself up neatly in a few hours. There were handwriting examinations.Notary records.Computer records.Emails.Bank documents.Interviews with Gavin’s employees.Questions about who prepared the trustee appointment, who created the medical certification, who submitted the deed, and who knew the documents were fal:se.Laura challenged the recorded deed and Gavin’s supposed appointment as successor trustee. The $320,000 loan never funded. The $1.8 million sale never passed title review. And the cabin remained exactly where Julia and I had intended it to remain. After everything settled down, I changed the trust. Not to punish Sophie. To protect her.Instead of receiving the cabin outright after my de:ath, she would remain the primary beneficiary while an independent co-trustee would have to approve any future sale, mortgage, or major transfer involving the property. No spouse, creditor, or business partner could pressure her into signing it away alone. When Laura explained the change, Sophie nodded.“I want that.”“You understand it means you won’t have unlimited control?”“Yes.”She looked at me.“I’ve seen what unlimited control can attract.”Several months later, I finally repaired the porch roof.Sophie came with me.We replaced the damaged boards, resealed the flashing, cleaned the gutters, and repainted part of the trim.On the second evening, we sat together on the porch while the sun dropped behind the trees.Sophie noticed Julia’s blue raincoat hanging beside the mudroom.“You still haven’t moved it.”“No.”“Mom would probably tell you to.”I smiled.“She probably would.”“You know you don’t have to keep everything exactly where she left it.”For the first time in 3 years, those words didn’t feel like a request to erase Julia. They felt like permission to keep living. The next morning, Sophie and I packed some of her mother’s clothes.I gave Sophie the blue raincoat. She pressed it against her chest and cried.I kept the coffee mug.I wasn’t ready to let go of everything. Before we left, I stood in the driveway and looked back at the cabin.Months earlier, I had driven up expecting nothing more than a leaking roof.Instead, I had found a U-Haul, people carrying furniture into my late wife’s home, and a man drinking beer on my porch telling me the place was going to belong to them anyway.Gavin thought possession would pressure me.He thought paperwork would confuse me.He thought my age would make other people question me before they questioned him. Most of all, he thought an expected inheritance was the same thing as ownership. He was wrong. What still unsettles me is how close the timing came.If that roof hadn’t leaked, I might not have visited that Tuesday. The loan application might have moved deeper into underwriting. The fal:se trustee documents might have survived longer without challenge. The developer’s title review might have become far more complicated.A stain spreading across a porch ceiling exposed a sche:me involving nearly $2 million.Julia used to complain about that roof.Every autumn, she would look up and say, “Martin, one of these days that thing is going to cause us trouble.”She was right.Just not in the way either of us expected. Now, whenever I unlock the cabin, I see her photograph beside the fireplace. And I remember what that Tuesday taught me.Being family does not give someone authority over your property.Expecting an inheritance does not make it yours. And when someone tells you, “It’s going to belong to us anyway,” pay attention to the word going.Because someday is not today. And I was still very much alive.

Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes' Marriage Plans: The Detail Everyone's Noticing New

Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes' Marriage Plans: The Detail Everyone's Noticing

Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes’ walk down the aisle is seemingly getting closer. Robach, 53, and Holmes, 49, applied for a marriage license in Washington, County, Arkansas, late last month, the local county clerk’s office confirmed to Us on Friday, October 2. The couple have not yet returned the document. (TMZ was first to report the news.) Holmes, an Arkansas native, and Robach have not publicly revealed their wedding plans. The former Good Morning America anchors got engaged in September 2025. “We are sharing with all of you that we are engaged and we’ve been engaged for just about a month now,” Robach said on an episode of the pair’s eponymous iHeartRadio podcast in October 2025. “I was in three massive football stadiums three weekends in a row, wearing my engagement ring very proudly, very excitedly, kept waiting for somebody to point it out or ask me, ‘Hey, what’s that?’ And it never happened.” Holmes further stressed that the couple weren’t “keeping [their engagement] a secret,” but no one had ever asked whether he popped the question. Holmes and Robach’s romance first made headlines in 2022 while the then-coworkers were still married to Andrew Shue and Marilee Fiebig, respectively. (Shue, 59, and Fiebig, 48, are now in a relationship.) “I haven’t found somebody I want to grow old with. I’ve found the person to stay young with,” Holmes told Us exclusively in March 2025 of Robach. “She literally is someone who stops and smells the roses. As long as she keeps that youthful exuberance, excitement for life, curiosity for life, that is youthful, it is attractive, it is energetic and that is what I love about her.” Robach, for her part, felt the same about Holmes. “This guy is my favorite person to do anything and everything with,” she gushed at the time. “He brings so much joy and so much laughter into every situation. I have never laughed so much with one person in my entire life. So if you can find someone to laugh with, that’s your person.” Amid Robach and Holmes’ romance, they have blended their families. Robach shares two daughters with ex-husband Tim McIntosh, while Holmes is a father of three. He shares two children with ex-wife Amy Ferson and daughter Sabine with Fiebig. The soon-to-be newlyweds also haven’t ruled out expanding their brood further. “I don’t know what’s going on, but we have talked more lately about having kids,” Holmes told Robach on a September 2025 episode of their podcast. “We have talked more lately about the idea of even adopting a child and usually it’s me bringing it up to you, … [and] she laughs at me.” Robach, meanwhile, admitted that she thought she was “out of the baby-making business” following her breast cancer battle in 2023. (Robach is now cancer-free after undergoing eight rounds of chemotherapy and breast reconstruction surgery.) “I do chuckle, because yes, that was a painful thing to hear at 40, but I have come to peace with it and am very happy to have had two children,” Robach acknowledged. “I’m saying this genuinely — my girls have now gone off — but to have Sabine around is joy. I absolutely totally appreciate and actually really look forward to and love having that childlike, that sweetness around. It’s awesome.”

On Saturday, October 3, the American Idol host, 51, offered a look via Instagram at what a day for him looks like from “start to finish” — sharing a peek at his morning and twilight bike rides. Seacrest was shirtless in both clips, allowing his abs to be appreciated in all of their glory. Fans and friends held nothing back as they admired the TV host’s chiseled physique. “I look exactly like this without all of the muscley ripply bits and more squishy bits made out of pasta and pizza and potatoes stuffed into spanx,” TV host Dina Pugliese posted. “But other than that. Twins.” “Ok seacrest, save some for the rest of us,” Walker actor Colin Ford quipped, with DJ Diplo adding, “ryan relax !!!” “I would never wear a shirt,” another commenter declared. Ahead of his 50th birthday, Seacrest told Entertainment Tonight in December 2024 that he was “over-exercising, eating better, over-training” so he could “make myself feel 29 again.” “I feel good because I can't believe I'm turning 50,” he said. “I'm doing everything I can to make myself feel like I'm not 50." Seacrest more recently spoke exclusively to Us in December 2025 about how he was approaching major lifestyle changes following his dad Gary’s death from prostate cancer that October. “Losing someone so close to you — my dad, my best friend — you realize that life is short,” he said. “You’ve got to make the most of it every day.” He went on to say, “Some of the little things that we let bother us are not important in the grand scheme. That resonated with me.” Seacrest somehow manages to fit a fitness regimen into a very busy schedule while hosting both American Idol and Wheel of Fortune, as well as fronting Celebrity Wheel of Fortune alongside Vanna White and recording his syndicated radio show On Air with Ryan Seacrest. His calendar was so jam-packed over the summer that he skipped out on attending Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s wedding at Madison Square Garden in July because he was booked to host coverage of America’s 250 birthday celebrations across Disney’s stable of networks. “Travis and Taylor got married. I had to keep a secret from you,” he revealed to On Air with Ryan Seacrest listeners on July 6. “It was a confidential invitation to everybody that was invited. So when you were doing your reports about the wedding, I was just on the inside screaming, outside very composed.” Seacrest continued, “I RSVP’d to go, and then Disney hired me to do the 4th of July 250 special on the 3rd and the 4th, so I had to cancel.”

Barack and Michelle Obama Share New Anniversary Photos That Have Everyone Talking

Former President Barack Obama and his wife, Michelle Obama, are celebrating 34 years of marriage with some new, never-before-seen PDA-filled pictures and videos. “Loving you just keeps getting better and better!” Michelle, 62, wrote via Instagram on Saturday, October 3, alongside a video compilation of the pair over the years. “Happy anniversary, @BarackObama. Here’s to many, many more years of joy, laughter, and memories to come.” In the video, Michelle — who met the former president in 1989 at the Chicago law firm where they both worked at the time — shared new photos of the loved-up couple, including a beach pic of the former president and first lady holding hands. Not to be outdone on their wedding anniversary, Barack, 65, also shared a sweet tribute to his better half on Saturday alongside a professional photo of the couple. “Happy anniversary, @MichelleObama!” the former president wrote. “I’m still the luckiest guy in the world to be with you.” https://www.instagram.com/reel/DeCcIKwxEXt While Barack and Michelle have been candid about their fairytale love story over the years and since Barack first entered the political sphere as a member of the Illinois State Senate in 1997, it wasn’t love at first sight for the couple. “And then in walks Barack Obama. And Barack Obama has always walked like Barack Obama,” Michelle recalled to Good Morning America’s Robin Roberts back in November 2018. “Like he’s got all the time in the world. He had that stride. I was like, ‘Dude, you’re cute.’ But in my mind, I was like … not even not interested. I’m not going to date one of the few Black summer associates, Robin. How tacky!” Eventually, the Nobel Peace Prize winner convinced Michelle to go on a date with him. The pair wed in October 1992 at Trinity United Church of Christ in Chicago, with a reception at the South Shore Cultural Center. In July 1998, they welcomed their first daughter, Malia. Their second daughter, Sasha, followed in June 2001. "What I value most about my marriage is that it is separate and apart from a lot of the silliness of Washington, and Michelle is not part of that silliness," the former president told The New York Times in 2009. “If I weren’t president, I would be happy to catch the shuttle with my wife to take her to a Broadway show, as I had promised her during the campaign, and there would be no fuss and no muss and no photographers. That would please me greatly.”

Why Chicken Feet Are the Secret Ingredient Everyone's Talking About New

Why Chicken Feet Are the Secret Ingredient Everyone's Talking About

Amazing Health Benefits of Chicken Feet You Should Know Theme:Font Size: Amazing Health Benefits of Chicken Feet You Should KnowChicken feet may not be the first food that comes to mind when discussing nutrition, but for generations they have been valued in many cultures around the world. From traditional soups in Asia to slow-cooked broths in Latin America and Africa, chicken feet have earned a reputation as an affordable ingredient packed with nutrients. While some people are initially surprised by the idea of eating chicken feet, others consider them a delicacy. Beyond their unique texture and culinary versatility, they are often praised for containing collagen, protein, minerals, and compounds that may support overall health when consumed as part of a balanced diet. What makes chicken feet particularly interesting is that much of their nutritional value comes from connective tissue, skin, cartilage, and tendons—parts of the chicken that are frequently overlooked in modern diets. During cooking, these tissues break down and release gelatin, creating rich, flavorful broths that have been used in traditional cooking for centuries.6A Nutritional Profile That Surprises Many PeopleChicken feet contain several nutrients that contribute to their popularity among health-conscious consumers.A typical serving provides: Protein Collagen Gelatin Calcium Phosphorus Magnesium Potassium Trace amounts of iron Amino acids Unlike muscle meat, chicken feet contain large amounts of connective tissue. When simmered for long periods, collagen breaks down into gelatin, which contributes to the characteristic texture of broths and soups.Collagen is the most abundant structural protein in the human body. It is found in skin, joints, ligaments, tendons, blood vessels, and many other tissues. As people age, natural collagen production gradually declines, leading many individuals to seek dietary sources of collagen-containing foods.Although eating collagen does not automatically transfer collagen directly into human skin or joints, collagen-rich foods provide amino acids that the body can use for numerous biological processes. Why Chicken Feet Are Often Associated With Healthy SkinOne reason chicken feet have become increasingly popular is their association with skin health.Collagen helps provide structure and elasticity to the skin. Because chicken feet contain significant amounts of collagen and gelatin, they are frequently included in diets focused on supporting healthy aging.Research suggests that collagen peptides may help support skin hydration and elasticity in some individuals. However, experts note that overall skin health depends on many factors, including: Genetics Sun exposure Sleep quality Hydration Nutrition Lifestyle habits

Chad Lowe's Daughter Mabel's Heartfelt Words After Sister Fiona's Tragic Death New

Chad Lowe's Daughter Mabel's Heartfelt Words After Sister Fiona's Tragic Death

Chad Lowe’s eldest daughter, Mabel, is breaking her silence after her sister Fiona’s death by suicide at 13. “I love you so much, Fiona ❤️,” Mabel, 17, wrote via Instagram on Saturday, October 3, sharing a carousel of throwback family photos. “I wish your short time here was easier, and I hope your mind is at ease now.” She continued, “I will honor you forever and keep your memory alive. I love you, I hope you knew just how much.” Lowe, 58, and his wife, Kim Painter, announced on Tuesday, September 29, that Fiona had died by suicide. (In addition to Mabel and Fiona, the couple also share daughter Nixie, 10.) “We are deeply heartbroken by the loss of our beloved Fiona,” Lowe and Painter, 52, wrote in a joint statement, referring to Fiona as “a loving young girl who was smart, creative and loved to dance.” The couple continued at the time, “She was adored by her sisters and she was deeply loved by her parents. In fact, she was the light of our lives. Her passing is devastating for our entire family and we ask for prayers and privacy at this time. If you or someone you know is struggling with mental health, please reach out to the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline by calling or texting 988.” The Pretty Little Liars alum’s father, Chuck Lowe, has also publicly mourned the death of his granddaughter. “Rest in peace, sweet Fiona,” Chuck wrote via Instagram the next day. Chad and Painter, who have not further addressed Fiona’s tragic loss, have long been candid about life with three daughters. “I’m a girl dad. It’s so interesting because [I’m] always wanting to have my own experiences and not live in the shadow or follow in the footsteps of somebody,” Chad previously said on the “Still Here” podcast in 2024. “I feel like having daughters is such an incredible privilege.” Chad, the younger brother of Rob Lowe, further explained how raising girls shifted his mindset. “I look at the world from really their perspective, and I see the world and a lot of the injustices in the world from their perspective. It’s not all doom and gloom,” Chad said at the time. “Society is changing. I see how we’re really becoming conscious of the role of women. We may, who knows, have the first female president. [We’re] really empowering women and seeing how much women have to offer. I personally think that if women were in charge of nations, we’d be a lot more peaceful.” If you or someone you know is struggling or in crisis, help is available.
