Later, Urker’s brother Dylan discovered him in the home. Urker’s sister Autumn also confirmed her brother’s death via an emotional TikTok Live on Thursday evening. Blanchard and Urker’s relationship began as pen pals when she was behind bars for seven years for her role in the 2015 murder of her mom, Clauddine “Dee Dee” Blanchard. After seeing the HBO documentary Mommy Dead and Dearest in 2017, Urker wrote a supportive letter to Blanchard as she continued to serve out her sentence. When he later visited her in prison, they shared their first kiss and Urker subsequently proposed to Blanchard in October 2018. Urker and Blanchard split the following year and she moved on with Ryan Anderson, who she married in a prison ceremony in 2022. United States District Court – Eastern Michigan DistrictSteel, 42, was arrested and slapped with fraud charges after allegedly targeting at least eight victims between 2022 and 2026, according to court documents obtained by the outlet.The Detroit “mogul” curated her online life as a high-rolling, prominent leader, showing off multiple awards and recognitions, her interactions with high-profile politicians and international trips.Steel is accused of swindling her first victim, a California investor, when she forged a false “Bank confirmation letter” from Deutsche Bank and claimed her own bank, Steel Private Bank, held over 300,000,000 euros.The falsified letter convinced the victim to wire $200,000 to an escrow account in exchange for a Standby Letter of Credit, the charging documents alleged.Bank officials later determined the “bank confirmation letter” was a fake.Officials also discovered Steel Private Bank was registered in the US and wasn’t FDIC insured.Shannon Monet Steel claimed to be a US Ambassador to the Central African Republic’s first lady.
