Harry Potter's Bonnie Wright Welcomes Baby No. 2: Meet Aster Sky New

Harry Potter's Bonnie Wright Welcomes Baby No. 2: Meet Aster Sky

Bonnie Wright and her husband, Andrew Lococo, are celebrating a magical new addition following the birth of their second baby. "Say hello to our son Aster Sky Wright Lococo born at home on the 28th September named after the star-shaped flower," Wright, 35, wrote via Instagram on Saturday, October 17, introducing her newborn. "Our little star has been showered in love by his big brother Elio. Thank you universe for my loving bundle of boys! Wright — who is best known for her role as Ginny Weasley in the Harry Potter film franchise — announced in April that she was pregnant and expecting baby No. 2. “Two babies on my lap ,” she captioned an Instagram photo of son Elio lying on her as her growing bump peeked out from beneath her T-shirt. “Our second little earthling [is] joining us this autumn!!” The following month, Wright shared an update on her pregnancy journey. “Second pregnancy definitely hits different,” she wrote in a May Instagram post. “My energy being pulled in one direction by my toddler and the other by growing tiny organs in my body. Doubling the blood flowing through my body. Feeling nauseous or dizzy. Searching for connection … Waiting for them to connect with me. Show me who they are and who they are expanding me to become. All an unknown. An unravelling. A never ending journey .” Wright and Lococo — who tied the knot in March 2022 — became first-time parents when they welcomed son Elio in September 2023. “Say hello to Elio Ocean Wright Lococo, [he was] born at home on Tuesday 19th September,” she announced via Instagram at the time. “We’re all healthy and happy. Andrew and I are so in love with our sun! So grateful for our birth team that have held our hands throughout and made the journey so joyous and expanding.” After declaring that “birth is the wildest experience,” Wright credited Lococo with being her “rock” throughout the delivery. “I squeezed onto you so tight and you never wavered,” she added. “Elio has the most tender loving papa.” One year later, Wright revealed that she hoped her son would explore the world of Harry Potter at some point in the future, though she had one condition for him watching the beloved films. “I mean, I can’t force it on him, but I’m definitely gonna positively encourage reading it,” she exclusively told Us Weekly in September 2024. “I hope to read it to him … but I definitely will make sure we read the books before we watch the movies. Could be like reading a book, [then] watching a movie. But I’m definitely gonna make sure we go through the books. I also remember growing up with the audiobooks, so maybe the audiobooks would be nice.”

Can You Find the Hidden Difference in These Nearly Identical Cups? New

Can You Find the Hidden Difference in These Nearly Identical Cups?

Think you have a sharp eye for details?Take a careful look at the picture before you make your choice. At first glance, every cup seems exactly the same. They all have the same color, the same shape, and the same handle. That is what makes this puzzle so interesting.Your brain naturally assumes everything matches. But appearances can be surprisingly misleading. Some tiny details are much easier to miss than you might expect. The difference is not meant to jump out immediately.Instead, it quietly hides among many nearly identical cups. The more you rush, the more likely you are to overlook it.Slow down and let your eyes move across the picture naturally.Try scanning one row at a time. Then look again from a different direction.Sometimes changing your viewing pattern helps you notice something new.Avoid guessing too quickly.A quick answer is not always the correct one. Many people are confident after only a few seconds. Then they take another look and completely change their minds. That is part of the fun. This challenge is all about patience and careful observation. There is no trick involving math or complicated logic. You simply need to pay close attention to the small visual details.Every cup looks almost identical. That single word—almost—is the key.Tiny differences can easily disappear when surrounded by similar objects. Our eyes often focus on the big picture instead of the little details. This puzzle tests whether you can break that habit. Can you stay focused until you find what stands out?Don’t let the repeating pattern fool you.Sometimes the answer is hiding in plain sight. If you stare at one area for too long, try looking somewhere else.A fresh perspective can make all the difference. You might even notice something you completely missed before.Challenge yourself to find the odd cup without any hints.See how long it takes you. Then compare your result with your friends or family.Who finds it first?Who needs a second look?Who changes their answer after checking again? It is always fun to see how differently people observe the same picture.Remember, speed is not the goal.Careful observation is what really matters.Take your time.Trust your eyes.Stay patient.Look closely. And when you think you’ve found the odd cup, check it one more time before deciding.Good luck, and enjoy the challenge!ANSWER:

Katie Zacharia's Five-Day White House Drama: What Really Happened? New

Katie Zacharia's Five-Day White House Drama: What Really Happened?

Katie Zacharia has been removed as White House press secretary after five days on the job, making her the shortest-serving person in the role in American history. Trump told reporters on Friday that he believed the press had been 'harsh' towards his new spokesperson but that he had advised her to 'reconsider' the position. Shortly afterwards, the White House confirmed she would be 'transitioning out'. Her tenure lasted half as long as Anthony Scaramucci's, who was fired as communications director after 10 days in 2017 and whose departure gave rise to 'the Mooch' as an unofficial unit of time. Journalists are already calling five days 'one Zacharia'. Zacharia replaced Karoline Leavitt, who stepped down in August to spend more time with her two young children. Leavitt held the role for 19 months. Zacharia held it for less than a working week. The 14-minute briefing Her first and only press conference took place on Tuesday. It lasted 14 minutes. She took three questions. She fumbled her words throughout. She looked down at her notes constantly. At one point she confused the words 'husband' and 'president'. The briefing ended abruptly, leaving reporters in the room visibly confused about whether it was actually over. It was everywhere within the hour. Clips of the briefing were shared millions of times across social media. Conservative commentators who would normally defend anyone standing behind that podium could not find a way to spin it. Fox News host Sean Hannity, one of the most reliable Trump allies in media, conducted an interview with Zacharia on Thursday that was openly uncomfortable. Megyn Kelly said she needed 'to present as a serious person'. Former Biden press secretary Jen Psaki compared the performance to a comedy skit. "Maybe this whole White House press secretary thing isn't really for Katie," she said. "It's not for everybody." Credit: Photo by Terry Wyatt/Getty Images for 2521 Entertainment and Angel Studios The law degree problem The briefing was bad. What came next was worse. Within hours of her first appearance, journalists discovered that Zacharia, who had described herself as 'an attorney' and holds a law degree, had never passed the bar exam required to practice law in the United States. She later claimed she had worked as a lawyer in China. That did not settle things. Hannity asked her directly during the Thursday interview: "Why didn't you just say: 'I never practised law'?" By that point, the question was not really about law. It was about whether the person standing in front of the White House press corps to speak on behalf of the president had been honest about her own background before being given the job. The answer appeared to be no, and in a role built entirely on credibility, that was the end of it. The one rule she broke Every press secretary who has held the role for any length of time understands one thing above all else: you are there to deliver the president's message. You are not the message. The moment people are talking about you instead of talking about what you said, the job has stopped working. Zacharia broke that rule on her first day. By Tuesday afternoon, every news outlet in the country was running stories about her performance rather than anything the White House was trying to communicate. By Wednesday, her legal credentials were the lead story. By Thursday, Sean Hannity was grilling her on Fox News about why she had called herself an attorney. By Friday, she was out. Every question at her next briefing would have been about her. Every clip would have been about the fumbles, the confusion, the bar exam. She would have been a permanent distraction standing at the podium of the most visible communications role in the world. There was no recovering from that. She became the story, and once that happens, you cannot also be the messenger. Credit: Tom Williams/CQ-Roll Call, Inc via Getty Image Who came before her Trump has now gone through six press secretaries across two terms. Sean Spicer, Sarah Huckabee Sanders, Stephanie Grisham, and Kayleigh McEnany served during his first. Leavitt served for 19 months of his second. Zacharia served for five days. Leavitt has already landed her first role since leaving the White House and remains close to the Trump operation. Her departure was orderly. Zacharia's was not. Scaramucci, who knows what it feels like, offered Zacharia some advice on X. "Speaking as the world's leading expert on short White House tenures: turn off the news and go enjoy your family. In time you'll realize that the Universe did you a major favor." What happens now Trump told Fox News he is 'not in a hurry' to fill the role. No replacement has been announced. That leaves the White House without a press secretary 17 days before the midterms, in the middle of a war with Iran, with three separate payment promises in play and an approval rating that has been declining since the summer. Zacharia posted on X after her departure that it had been 'an honour' to work for Trump, calling him 'a kind, wonderful, gracious, thoughtful, enthusiastic, and hardworking man'. She held the job for five days. She gave one briefing. She took three questions. And she broke the one rule that matters more than any other in that role: she made the whole thing about herself. Annabel Richter's Tragic NYC Journey Sparks Heartfelt Reactions New

Annabel Richter's Tragic NYC Journey Sparks Heartfelt Reactions

See more of our coverage in your search results. She was on her own in the concrete jungle. Fashion Institute of Technology student Annabel Richter bravely moved thousands of miles away from home to chase her dreams alone in Gotham, a shattered family friend told The Post, but her courageous solo journey was cut short by a twisted predator who allegedly drugged her and then raped her while she was dying from a fentanyl overdose.Prosecutors say Moises Freire, 19, drugged Richter, 21, and her roommate inside their Chelsea dorm in March. Annabel Richter’s mother shared an angelic photo of her on Instagram. Instagram/Flavia RochaBoth unconscious women were eventually rushed to the hospital but only the roommate survived.“She struck me as very sweet and kind,” Christina Perez, a longtime friend of Richter’s grandmother, told The Post Friday. “She was very bright.”Perez said Richter’s entire family was living in Sao Paulo, Brazil, except her grandmother, who lives in Washington state, when she went to college.“She wanted to go to New York,” Perez said. “The idea worried me a bit because she didn’t have anyone there — her family was still in Brazil.”The grandmother, Virginia “Gini” Richter, is in shambles and “suffering a great deal” since the horrific death. She said the rest of Richter’s family came to the states for her memorial service in Portland, Ore. Richter was described as “sweet and “bright.” Instagram/Flavia Rocha“I can only imagine what it’s like for her parents. It’s a terrible situation. Very, very sad,” Perez said. Richter’s mother Flavia Rocha, a Brazilian poet and journalist, shared a tear-jerking tribute to her daughter on Instagram a few days after she died.“It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of our daughter Annabel, so dearly loved by all of us. Her light remains alive in our hearts. Forever,” she wrote. Her whole family was in Brazil, except her grandmother, when she went to FIT. Stephen Yang for NY PostRocha also shared a poem Richter wrote when she was 10 years old titled “What is Red?” She shared an angelic photo of her daughter in a light pink top.“Bel and I would often discuss how women who suffered violence would rarely have a voice. I hope that Annabel’s story brings awareness, and meets justice,” the heartbroken mother previously told The Post.Freire allegedly told the women he was bringing them cocaine from Mexico — even after he’d tried the fentanyl a week earlier and likened it to “poison” in a text to a friend, according to shocking court papers unsealed Thursday.Freire, who was not an FIT student, allegedly gave both victims the dangerous drug in their dorm room on March 18. It’s not clear how Richter and her roommate knew Freire.Richter believed she was taking cocaine, prosecutors said. Instagram/Flavia RochaHe then raped Richter while she was unconscious, prosecutors say, and allegedly waited 45 minutes before calling campus security. First responders gave them both Narcan before rushing them to the hospital.Freire also allegedly took photos of Richter while she was knocked out and naked from the waist down to share with his friends. He also lied to campus security that the two women were unconscious because they simply had too much to drink — and claimed that he’d somehow not noticed that his victim was passed out until after he was finished having sex with her, prosecutors say.“It is truly hard to believe that the defendant, who seemed entirely coherent and sober at the time, who didn’t have any of the substance, who is captured on the security guard’s body-worn camera seeming coherent and sober, didn’t know what was going on when he was having sex with the victim who was completely unconscious,” prosecutor Ariana Bloom said at an April court hearing.Freire’s friend, Brian Peralta Cabrera, 18, of Queens, was separately hit with narcotics conspiracy charges for alleging helping Freire get the lethal fentanyl.Freire and Peralta Cabrera were first arrested in March. They pleaded not guilty to an initial set of charges that did not include the rape allegation and remain in custody. Freire is due back in court Oct. 28 to be arraigned on upgraded charges of distributing a controlled substance with the intent to commit rape, along with other narcotics charges. He faces a minimum of 20 years in prison, and a maximum of life if convicted.A third man, Harry Rosales Pino, has pleaded guilty to narcotics distribution resulting in death.

What Your First Animal Choice Says About Your Unique Traits New

What Your First Animal Choice Says About Your Unique Traits

Have you ever looked at an optical illusion and noticed that your eyes immediately focused on one shape before anything else? Some people spot the snake right away, while others instantly notice the dog, the seal, or even the hand. Our brains naturally pay attention to different details, and that’s what makes these little personality games so much fun.Of course, this isn’t a scientific personality test, and it won’t reveal your entire future. Think of it as a lighthearted way to learn something interesting about yourself. Sometimes the first thing we notice reflects what our minds are naturally drawn to, and that can say a surprising amount about our everyday habits and strengths. So don’t overthink it.Take one quick look at the picture and remember the very first animal—or object—you noticed.Ready?Let’s see what your choice says about what makes you stand out.SnakeIf the snake caught your eye first, your greatest strength is your awareness. You tend to notice little details that many people completely miss. Whether it’s someone’s tone of voice, a small change in behavior, or something that just doesn’t seem quite right, your instincts are often surprisingly accurate.People may think you’re quiet at first, but that’s usually because you’re observing before speaking. When you finally do share your opinion, others often realize you’ve been paying attention all along.Your unique gift is seeing beneath the surface instead of judging things too quickly.PantherIf you saw the panther first, confidence is probably one of your defining qualities. You’re the kind of person who doesn’t need to be the loudest in the room to make an impression. There’s a calm strength about you that people naturally respect.Challenges don’t scare you for long. Even when life gets messy, you usually find a way to stay focused and move forward.Your uniqueness comes from balancing courage with patience. You know that timing can be just as important as action.Polar BearIf the polar bear appeared first, you’re someone people often turn to when they need comfort. You have a calm presence that helps others feel safe and understood. Even during stressful situations, you’re usually the one encouraging everyone to slow down and think clearly. You’re caring without expecting much in return, and that kindness leaves a lasting impression.Your greatest strength isn’t being the loudest person—it’s making others feel like they’re not facing things alone.DogIf you noticed the dog first, loyalty is at the center of who you are.You value genuine friendships, meaningful conversations, and people who keep their promises. Once someone earns your trust, you’ll probably stand by them through thick and thin. You’re also naturally approachable. Friends often feel comfortable opening up to you because you listen without rushing to judge.Your uniqueness comes from your dependable nature. In a world where people come and go, you’re someone others know they can count on.SealIf the seal was the first thing you saw, your biggest strength is your playful spirit. You enjoy finding joy in everyday moments and rarely take life more seriously than necessary. Even during difficult times, you have a way of bringing smiles to the people around you. You’re curious, adaptable, and usually open to trying something new. You believe life is meant to be experienced, not just planned.Your positive attitude is contagious, and people often feel happier after spending time with you.HandIf the hand stood out first, you’re naturally thoughtful and practical.Instead of rushing into decisions, you like to understand the whole picture before taking action. You’re the person friends often ask for advice because you tend to see situations from different perspectives. You also enjoy helping others, whether it’s solving a problem, offering support, or simply being there when someone needs you.Your uniqueness comes from turning ideas into action. While others may only talk about helping, you’re usually the one who actually does something. So… Which One Fits You Best?Did your result feel surprisingly accurate, or was it completely different from how you see yourself?Remember, personality quizzes like this are meant to be fun conversation starters rather than serious psychological tests. We all have a little bit of every animal inside us, and our personalities change as we grow and experience new things.Still, it’s always interesting to discover which qualities our minds seem to recognize first. So, what did you see first? Share your answer with your friends and see whether they spot the same animal—or something completely different!

Kelly Clarkson's Brooklyn Store Encounter Sparks Heated Debate New

Kelly Clarkson's Brooklyn Store Encounter Sparks Heated Debate

Kelly Clarkson’s alleged dispute with a Brooklyn shopkeeper was seemingly captured on video via the store’s security cameras. Alleged footage of the moment, which has sparked an ongoing public war of words between the musician, 44, and the owners of the curiosity boutique Art of Play in New York City, was shared via the “Pablo Torre Finds Out” podcast on Tuesday, October 13. A woman, who host and journalist Pablo Torre claims to be Clarkson, is seen entering the store amid a busy crowd before zeroing in on a wall-hung mechanical bird puppet named “Molly” at approximately 2:50 PM ET on Saturday, October 10, per the footage. Dressed in an oversized yellow T-shirt, a gray baseball cap and carrying a backpack, the woman — allegedly Clarkson — then engages with an employee. Torre, 41, and his podcast co-host, Wyatt Cenac, commentated the woman’s moves, pointing out that “the whole interaction lasts seconds,” before the woman and the staff member “part ways” for her to continue browsing and for him to oversee the rest of the store. The footage then captures the shopkeeper pointing at the wall positioned directly opposite to the bird and looking in the woman’s direction. The woman seemingly does not notice the gesture as her back is turned to the man as she looks through a back shelf in the store. “[He’s] pointing as though, ‘If you’re interested in getting a bird, there’s this one here,” comedian Cenac, 50, argues about the footage. (Clarkson’s first claimed via X that she was allegedly “looked at as if I couldn’t afford it and was told he could find something comparable for me.”) The woman turns around within moments as the shopkeeper begins speaking to another customer. She is then seen returning two items back to the shelves before walking to the entrance of the store to glance back at the shopkeeper, who remains in conversation with the other customer. Clasping her hands and shaking her head slightly, the woman heads further towards the exit before addressing another staff member in the store with animated gestures. She then exits abruptly with the second shopkeeper appearing confused and pointing a hand in his colleague’s direction. Comparing the interaction to the iconic “Big mistake” scene in 1990’s Pretty Woman, Clarkson wrote in full on Saturday, “Just drove all the way to Brooklyn to check out this store I thought looked really rad and had a few things in mind to buy and literally was looked at as if I couldn’t afford it and was told he could find something comparable for me. Wow, dude. You’re an idiot and just lost a huge sale. But y’all should go check out Art of Play in Brooklyn if you enjoy being treated like Julia Roberts’ character in Pretty Woman. For sure, check it out .” In the days since, the store has defended itself via social media by directly refuting Clarkson’s claim, sharing positive customer reviews and detailing the interaction itself. Clarkson fired back on Sunday, October 11, labeling the store a “liar.” Us has reached out to a rep for the singer regarding the alleged security footage but did not hear back at the time of publication.

The Egg Puzzle That’s Stumping Everyone: Can You Solve It? New

The Egg Puzzle That’s Stumping Everyone: Can You Solve It?

Take a careful look at the pan before you answer.Don’t rush.At first glance, the answer seems obvious. Most people simply count the egg yolks they can see.But is that really the right way to count? Some eggs can have two yolks. Some egg whites can overlap. And sometimes two separate eggs look like one. That is what makes this puzzle so interesting.Slow down and examine every part of the picture.Notice how some yolks share the same white.Notice how others have their own separate white. The challenge is not just counting yolks. The challenge is figuring out how many actual eggs were cracked into the pan.Let’s break it down.At the top of the pan, you can see two eggs with single yolks. On the right side, there are two more eggs, each with one yolk.On the left side, there is one large white that contains two yolks. That could be one double-yolk egg.Or it could be two separate eggs that merged together after being cracked.Near the bottom, there is another large white with two yolks.Again, this could be one double-yolk egg.Or it could be two eggs that simply blended into one white while cooking. Now let’s consider the possibilities. If every visible yolk came from a separate egg, then there are 8 eggs in the pan.If both pairs of yolks belong to double-yolk eggs, then only 6 eggs were cracked. And if one pair is a double-yolk egg while the other pair is actually two separate eggs, then the answer would be 7 eggs. That means there isn’t just one possible answer. The picture doesn’t give enough information to know for certain. The most accurate response is that the number of eggs could be 6, 7, or 8, depending on whether the two double-yolk-looking eggs are truly double-yolk eggs or simply merged whites. That’s what makes this puzzle so clever. It tricks your brain into assuming something without enough evidence.Instead of asking, “How many yolks do you see?”It quietly asks, “How many eggs were actually cracked?”Sometimes the smartest answer isn’t choosing a number right away. It’s recognizing that the picture allows more than one reasonable interpretation. So…What answer did you get before reading the explanation?6, 7, or 8?Share your reasoning in the comments and see if others noticed the same details you did!

Harry Styles' Emotional Tribute to Liam Payne Captivates Madison Square Garden New

Harry Styles' Emotional Tribute to Liam Payne Captivates Madison Square Garden

Harry Styles honored Liam Payne by performing a new song at Madison Square Garden two years after his One Direction bandmate’s death. Addressing the audience while on stage during the Friday, October 16, leg of his Together, Together Tour, Styles, 32, shared that he had written the song about Payne. “I feel incredibly lucky to get to play these shows here in New York, and this building means a lot to me as I’ve said,” Styles told the crowd before debuting the track called “What Is Enough.” He continued, “I feel incredibly proud when I get to look up there and see my name up there. There are so many people in my life, friends and people that I’ve worked with, that I wouldn’t have been able to do this without. And two years ago today, I lost one of those friends.” Styles encouraged his fans to look after one another and acknowledged that some people in the audience have likely suffered adversities similar to the grief he experienced when losing Payne. He continued, “So many people who have touched my life in such special ways and who I wouldn’t be here without. I’m gonna play you a song I wrote for my friend about two years ago, if that’s all right.” Payne died in October 2024 after falling from a third-floor balcony at the CasaSur Palermo Hotel in Buenos Aires. He was 31 years old. Styles and his remaining former One Direction bandmates, Niall Horan, Louis Tomlinson and Zayn Malik, released a joint statement shortly after Payne’s death. “We’re completely devastated by the news of Liam’s passing. In time, and when everyone is able to, there will be more to say,” they shared in October 2024. “But for now, we will take some time to grieve and process the loss of our brother, who we loved dearly. The memories we shared with him will be treasured forever. For now, our thoughts are with his family, his friends, and the fans who loved him alongside us. We will miss him terribly. We love you Liam.” Styles also shared a solo post in tribute to Payne the same month, posting a photo of the “Strip That Down” singer performing in front of a large crowd via his Instagram. “I am truly devastated by Liam’s passing,” Styles wrote. “His greatest joy was making other people happy, and it was an honour to be alongside him as he did it.” He continued, “Liam lived wide open, with his heart on his sleeve, he had an energy for life that was infectious. He was warm, supportive, and incredibly loving. The years we spent together will forever remain among the most cherished years of my life. I will miss him always, my lovely friend.” The “Watermelon Sugar” singer further opened up about the loss while speaking to Zane Lowe in an Apple Music interview released in March this year. “It’s difficult to lose any friend, but it’s so difficult to lose a friend who is so like you in so many ways,” Styles said. “It’s like, I saw someone with the kindest heart who just wanted to be great.”

Hamptons' First Target Sparks Buzz with Unusual Design Twist

See more of our coverage in your search results. They’re not seeing red.Target has officially crashed the ultra-exclusive Hamptons scene — but don’t expect the big-box signature scarlet bullseye to glow among the East End’s multi-million-dollar estates. To comply with Bridgehampton’s notoriously strict commercial laws, the big-box hub unveiled a muted grey storefront with tidy white shingles and a matching all-white bullseye sign. In a statement, the Minneapolis-based store said the design choice was “to reflect Bridgehampton’s coastal vibes.”The new Bridgehampton Target has a white bullseye sign, per the South Fork area’s rules. Courtesy TargetBecause of the hamlet’s laws banning brightly lit signs, the bullseye also has no internal illumination. Instead, it’s meant to glow through some subtle overhead lights. The design scheme is mirrored inside the retail haven, where the ghastly fluorescent lights endured by most commoners have been swapped for tasteful hanging light fixtures surrounded by basket-woven shades across the 90,000-square-foot store. The best part, according to design fiends like Feed Me founder Emily Sundberg: Custom-printed toile wallpaper starring the store’s beloved English bull terrier as he trots around a Hamptons horse show, past an open bottle of local Wölffer rosé and across the famous Beebe windmill. It took seven years for Target to secure its first Hamptons hub, which was once the site of a K-mart. Now it lies mere miles from the Bridgehampton homes of billionaires like commerce secretary Howard Lutnik and Boston Celtics co-owner Wyc Grousbeck. Madonna and Christie Brinkley are also proud residents. The new Bridgehampton Target includes custom wallpaper that features East End landmarks. Courtesy Target“There truly was one site that would work for us,” said Target real estate chief Brandt Uthus in a statement, noting the chain spent years hunting down a location in the Hamptons’ only major shopping center. (Until now, local bargain-hunters had to drag themselves over an hour away to Riverhead just to grab toilet paper in bulk.)But even the upscale touches — including Adirondack porch chairs at the front and a dressing area that looks more like a yacht club locker room — couldn’t please some social media moaners who claim to call Bridgehampton home. The dressing rooms of the new Target look like yacht club amenities. Courtesy Target“Some of us actually like Bridgehampton because it isn’t every other suburb in America,” said one Instagram wailer, calling the new superstore “another excuse for 500 distracted drivers to clog roads… At what point do we admit we’re destroying the very thing that made people want to live here in the first place?”Cue the eye-roll emojis from other townies.“Local born and raised,” wrote Southampton resident Bobby Huneken in a rebuttal. “We need this.”Especially the custom bulldog wallpaper.

See more of our coverage in your search results. A class of their own.One in four US public school teachers said they are likely to quit within the next year — as only a third of them feel appreciated, according to a concerning new survey. Just 35% of K-12 educators say they “matter a great deal” at their school, while almost one in five (19%) say they don’t matter much or at all, according to a report released Wednesday by the Walton Family Foundation, Gallup, and the Mattering Institute.Among those teachers who feel like they don’t matter, more than two-thirds (68%) described themselves as frequently burned out, and fewer than half planned to remain in education, the survey found.Teachers at private, independent, or charter schools, meanwhile, were far more likely than their public school counterparts to believe they matter a great deal. Only a third of public school teachers feel they “matter a great deal,” a new survey found. But they also point to a path forward, with simple, research-backed practices that school leaders, parents and communities can use to help educators feel valued, supported, and able to see the difference they make,” she went on.“The people who help our children know they matter deserve to know they matter, too,” Wallace added.

Kelly Clarkson's Brooklyn Store Visit Sparks Unexpected Backlash New

Kelly Clarkson's Brooklyn Store Visit Sparks Unexpected Backlash

Art of Play co-owner Adam Rubin is taken aback by the impact of Kelly Clarkson’s critical post on his Brooklyn home store. “Honestly, I have no experience with this. I have no idea how we move forward with it,” Rubin said in an interview with 1010 WINS on 92.3 FM on Tuesday, October 13. “I just want to say we hold no ill will against Kelly Clarkson. We invite her to come back and enjoy the store. But, we find her gross abuse of power completely reprehensible, and she should face social consequences.” On Saturday, October 10, Clarkson, 44, first spoke out about her experience visiting Art of Play in New York. “Just drove all the way to Brooklyn to check out this store I thought looked really rad and had a few things in mind to buy and literally was looked at as if I couldn’t afford it and was told he could find something comparable for me. Wow, dude. You’re an idiot and just lost a huge sale,” Clarkson wrote via X. “But y’all should go check out Art of Play in Brooklyn if you enjoy being treated like Julia Roberts’ character in Pretty Woman. For sure, check it out .” A back-and-forth proceeded with Clarkson and the store sharing their own recollection of events. While The Voice coach hasn’t spoken out since Sunday, October 11, Rubin’s latest interview indicates her words are still having an impact. “We have to turn the phone off,” he claimed. “A regular customer couldn’t get in touch with us if they wanted to. Superstars, they should be held responsible for yielding their power against someone who is just a normal person.” Clarkson — who has not asked her fans to do anything to the store — has maintained that a mechanical singing bird hanging on the wall of the store had a price tag of $15,000. Rubin, however, claims the bird is not for sale. “We work directly with these artisans. If somebody is interested, we can reach out to this artisan and talk about maybe then getting a similar version,” he claimed, recalling his exchange with the first-ever American Idol winner. “These things take years to build. They’re not sitting in a warehouse somewhere. They don’t have next-day delivery. That conversation was had. Clearly, there was some miscommunication.” In a separate interview with USA Today, Rubin said the mechanical singing bird, which is named Molly, now has an eight-figure price tag and costs $15 million. “We’ve raised the price due to popular demand,” he told the publication.
