Candace Cameron Bure Embraces Grandmotherhood: Why She's Not Sharing Baby Pics
Candace Cameron Bure is in her grandmother era — or “CandyGram” era, as she prefers to be called. “I want nothing more than to post pictures of two of the cutest babies you’ll ever see, my grandchildren,” Cameron Bure, 50, wrote via her Instagram Stories on Saturday, November 7, alongside a photo of herself peering into a stroller. “I scroll through pictures of them all day long and just smile at their little faces.” Candace and her husband, Valeri Bure, first became grandparents in September when their son Lev Bure’s wife, Elliott Bure, gave birth to son Bond 10 weeks early. The next month, Candace’s daughter, Natasha Bure Perry, revealed she welcomed daughter Winnie with husband Steven Perry. (Candace and Valeri, 52, are also parents of son Maksim Bure, 24.) “My daughter and daughter-in-law send me daily pics when I can’t see them in person,” the Full House alum added on Saturday. “It’s the BEST!!”
Candace further noted that she wouldn’t share baby photos via social media “for privacy.” Lev, 26, and Natasha, 28, and their respective spouses have since been soaking in their newborn bliss after Bond and Winnie’s arrivals into the growing family.
“I have been nothing short of in awe of you these past two weeks,” Bradley, 27, offered praise to Natasha in an Instagram tribute last month. “The mental and physical toughness you’ve shown, and everything pregnancy and childbirth have put your body through, is something I genuinely can’t wrap my head around.” He continued at the time, “There’s not a man in this world who wouldn’t have completely lost it 20 minutes into what you’ve had to endure. But through all of it, the most incredible part has been watching the love and excitement you have for our daughter. Even at 4 in the morning, running on no sleep, you somehow still manage to be so excited to wake up and feed her.”
