Tyler Baltierra's Emotional Tribute to Catelynn Lowell's 30-Pound Transformation

Share Post

Teen Mom star Catelynn Lowell has lost an impressive 30 pounds —  and her husband, Tyler Baltierra, is in awe of her weight loss journey. “ HAPPY HALLOWEEN from The Baltierra’s! ,” Tyler, 34, wrote via Instagram on Saturday, October 31, showing off his family’s Halloween costumes. Tyler dressed up as Nightwing, while Catelynn, 34, went as a witch to match their youngest daughter, Rya, 4. (In addition to Rya, Tyler and Catelynn also share Nova, 11, and Vaeda, 7, who dressed like Stick Man and Pennywise, respectively. The Teen Mom couple previously gave up their eldest daughter, Carly, for adoption upon her 2009 birth.) In a subsequent post, Tyler shouted out Catelynn for working hard to lose weight.

“Can we just take a moment to acknowledge how beautiful my wife is!? She’s down 30lbs & I’m so beyond proud of her!” Tyler captioned a Sunday, November 1, before-and-after photo of Catelynn wearing the same witchy costume. “This is what we should all be talking about in regard to our Halloween photos.” He added, “I love you babe @catelynnmtv & you’re always the most beautiful to me! #MyBabe #Soulmate #Queen #SexyWitch.” While Catelynn has not publicly discussed her wellness journey, she previously made it clear that she wouldn’t stand for Tyler being anything less than supportive of her endeavors.

“If I was ever being body-shamed or called out of my name in front of my kids, I would be gone,” she quipped on a 2023 episode of Page Six’s “Virtual Reali-Tea” podcast. “I don’t want my children to think that’s OK to be treated like that.” Catelyn has also supported Tyler’s own fitness goals. “I’m pretty happy with the results. It makes me even more pumped to see how the next cut goes after I’m done bulking again,” Tyler previously wrote via Instagram in August 2022. “I did decide to shift my goals a little and focus more on aesthetics/muscle building for this next bulk cycle, rather than strength building (like I was doing before).”
