Marina Squerciati Hints at Baby Talk and Burzek's Future in Chicago P.D.

Chicago P.D.’s Intelligence Unit is about to get a new member with the arrival of Kevin Atwater’s baby — but are married couple Kim Burgess and Adam Ruzek ready for their own bundle of joy?

“I don't know that Burgess has baby fever,” Marina Squerciati exclusively told Us of her character’s headspace during season 14. “I think Burgess deserves a baby, but who knows?”

Squerciati, 42 — who has played Burgess since the show’s 2014 premiere — noted that during the upcoming Wednesday, October 14, episode of the hit NBC series, the detective does look at Atwater’s (LaRoyce Hawkins) baby pictures and says, “Oh, this baby’s so cute.”
