Why This Farmer's Response to a Government Official Is Going Viral
An old farmer was driving down a country road with his truck loaded high with manure when a government official noticed him and decided to stop for a conversation. Curious about the enormous load, the official walked over and asked the farmer what he planned to do with all that manure.
The farmer calmly explained that he was taking it back to his farm so he could spread it over his strawberries. The official stared at him in disbelief. After a moment, he shook his head and told the farmer that where he came from, people didn’t put manure on strawberries. Instead, they preferred cream and sugar.
The farmer remained completely serious as he listened to the official’s advice. For a few seconds, neither man said anything.
