Mayor Mamdani Faces Fury at NYC Memorial Amid Protest

Mayor Zohran Mamdani was berated and booed by anti-Israel protesters at an Oct. 7 candlelight vigil in Union Square on Wednesday night.

Hizzoner, with a candle in hand, was heckled by an angry mob who marched north from City Hall to crash the event meant to honor Jewish victims killed by Hamas terrorists — and Palestinians in the subsequent war.

“You coward!” some of the keffiyeh-clad protesters shouted at Hizzoner. “How do you let this happen?”
