WASHINGTON — President Trump revealed Sunday it is “highly unlikely” that the US will resume the war in Iran as long as talks over the Islamic Republic’s nuclear program continue to make progress.“It depends on whether or not they sign a very strong agreement,” Trump told during a phone interview. “The answer is highly unlikely it’s going to be necessary. They’re a failing nation. It just came out, you saw this year, 301% inflation. Highly unlikely it will be necessary.”“So it’s highly unlikely I’ll have to,” he went on. “They’re withering away financially. We’ve hit them militarily. Hugh Jackman's Heartfelt Tribute at Michigan Game Leaves Fans Buzzing New

Hugh Jackman's Heartfelt Tribute at Michigan Game Leaves Fans Buzzing

Hugh Jackman took his role as honorary captain of the University of Michigan Wolverines seriously — just ask his girlfriend, Sutton Foster. “From one Wolverine to the others on the @uofmichigan football team,” Jackman, 58, wrote via Instagram on Saturday, November 7, referring to his beloved Marvel Cinematic Universe character. “I’m beyond stoked to be your honorary captain tomorrow! BTW — Is it a simple mistake that I haven’t received the playbook yet, on purpose?!?” Jackman and Foster, 51, were present for Saturday’s game, dressed in matching Michigan hoodies, jeans and team hats. Jackman, for his part, paired his ensemble with a jersey emblazoned with the No. 48. “I’m gonna wear this jersey, some of you know this number,” he told the team ahead of kickoff, per social media footage. “You may know what this represents [or] you may know this story.” The No. 48 on the back of Jackman’s T-shirt paid homage to former President Gerald Ford, who was the 48th commander-in-chief. “That is not why I’m wearing this jersey. In 1936, Gerald Ford was playing with Michigan [and] his best mate on the team was Willis Ward,” Jackman explained. “Willis Ward was a Black man, who was the star of the team. They were best friends, they say ‘best friends for life.’” Jackman further recalled Michigan’s 1936 game against Georgia Tech, where the visiting team threatened not to play if Ward was on the field. “At the time, the sporting director for the U of M said, ‘Alright,’ they benched him,” Jackman noted. “Gerald Ford was so incensed that his best friend, a Black man, was benched. He wrote to his dad and said, ‘I’m leaving this university.’ He went to the sporting director and he said, ‘I will not play in this game.’” He continued, “It became a whole thing. Willis Ward pulled Gerald Ford aside and he said, ‘You are playing and you know why? Because you’re going to go out there and you’re gonna beat them.’ He might have said a few other words that I don’t want to say, and that’s exactly what happened the next day. They stayed best friends for the rest of their lives.” Jackman explained that he told the Michigan players Ford’s story as one of “character and standing up for what matters.” “Ultimately, [the story is] about sticking up for your teammates, about sticking up for that teammate who was next to you,” the Deadpool star stated, noting the crooked “4” in the Ford jersey is a “memento” to his lifelong friendship with Ward. “No matter what the stakes are, do what is right and you back your teammates. To me, I hear that story and I guess to me, that’s what it is to be a Wolverine.” Despite Jackman’s heartfelt pregame speech, the team lost 6-15.

Justin Timberlake Reveals Truth Behind 'What Goes Around' Amid Britney Rumors New

Justin Timberlake Reveals Truth Behind 'What Goes Around' Amid Britney Rumors

Justin Timberlake is finally addressing years-long speculation that his 2006 hit song "What Goes Around... Comes Around" was written about his ex-girlfriend Britney Spears. "Maybe I should dispel a rumor at this point," Timberlake, 45, teased during a Thursday, November 5, interview with Complex's Re-Rank. Fans have long suspected that Timberlake wrote "What Goes Around... Comes Around" as a pseudo-sequel to 2002 single "Cry Me a River", which is widely interpreted to be a shady reaction to his split from Spears, 44, that same year. "Is this the way it's really going down? Is this how we say goodbye? Should have known better when you came around. That you were gonna make me cry," Timberlake sings in the FutureSex/LoveSounds track. "It's breaking my heart to watch you run around. 'Cause I know that you're living a lie. But that's okay, baby, 'cause in time you will find … what goes around, goes around, goes around comes all the way back around." In this week's interview, Timberlake suggested that "What Goes Around... Comes Around" was actually based on a friend's experience in a bad relationship. "[The rumor] has gone around forever, which is like, [the song] is not a personal story from mine," he said. "It’s actually a personal story from a friend. I asked permission.” Timberlake recalled that a pal was "just going through it and he was telling me what had happened." "I said, ‘Do you mind if I write about this?’ And I quote, my friend said, ‘Yeah, torch that bitch. What goes around comes around.’ And I was like, ‘I have to go. Thank you,'" he quipped. Timberlake recalled that the lyrics to "What Goes Around... Comes Around" flowed out of him in "damn near 20 minutes," adding that he'd rank the track as "one or two" in his discography. "The interlude that goes with it … and then you put the video with it, there’s a 10-minute video we shot for it, like this just hit on all cylinders for me," he said. Spears acknowledged in her 2023 memoir The Woman in Me that she cheated on Timberlake with choreographer Wade Robson during their three-year relationship, though she alleged that her ex-boyfriend was also unfaithful. The "Toxic" singer subsequently "apologized for some of the things [she] wrote about" in her autobiography before walking back the statement days later. "Someeone told me someone was talking s*** about me on the streets !!! Do you want to bring it to the court or will you go home crying to your mom like you did last time ??? I’m not sorry," she wrote via Instagram in February 2024. In January 2024, Timberlake defiantly told told a New York City concert crowd that he was going to “apologize to absolutely f***ing nobody.” Fans may learn more about Timberlake's split from Spears in an upcoming four-part Apple TV+ docuseries about his life in career, slated to debut in December. Acclaimed documentarian Fisher Stevens has directed the project, which will reportedly feature an interview with Janet Jackson about her and Timberlake's scandalous 2004 Super Bowl performance.

Caleb Haraguchi-Combs/LinkedInThe promotion came with a $50,000 raise to principal-level compensation. A project director of a planned school usually becomes the new school’s principal. But Haraguchi-Combs’ new school — a proposed FiDi institution focusing on artificial intelligence and computer tech — was never approved or opened.Schools Chancellor Kamar Samuels torpedoed the proposal in April after woke backlash over its merit-based admissions model and general fear of AI in schools.Yet the windfall continued for Haraguchi-Combs, 33.In his previous role as assistant principal at Manhattan Center for Science and Mathematics in East Harlem, he made $141,960 a year, according to public records.A Manhattan Center official confirmed that Haraguchi-Combs is no longer at the school. When The Post confronted the educator this week outside his shimmering Downtown Brooklyn high-rise, Haraguchi-Combs refused to say where he worked.“You came to my house? The Little Boy's Book Mishap: Why It's More Puzzling Than You Think New

The Little Boy's Book Mishap: Why It's More Puzzling Than You Think

Here is a simple-looking puzzle that may be harder than you think.A little boy was playing with a book at home.He was not reading the story or looking at the pictures.Instead, he started tearing out some pages from the book. His mother later found that six page numbers were missing. They were pages 7, 8, 100, 101, 222, and 223.Now, here is the interesting question. How many pages were actually torn out?Take a moment to look at the numbers and think carefully before choosing your answer. There are five possible answers.A: 6B: 3C: 7D: 5E: 4At first, answer A may seem like the obvious choice. After all, the boy tore out pages 7, 8, 100, 101, 222, and 223.That is six different page numbers. But this puzzle is not simply about counting numbers. We need to understand how pages are arranged in a normal book.A book is usually made of sheets of paper. Each sheet has two sides, and each side has a page number. This means that two consecutive page numbers can be printed on the front and back of the same sheet. For example, pages 7 and 8 are on opposite sides of one sheet of paper. So, when the boy tears out page 7 and page 8, he actually removes only one physical sheet. That is the first important detail. Now, let’s look at pages 100 and 101.These two pages are next to each other when we open the book. However, they are on two different sheets of paper.Page 100 is on the back of the sheet containing page 99, while page 101 is on the front of the next sheet, which has page 102 on its back. Therefore, tearing out pages 100 and 101 means removing two sheets. The same thing happens with pages 222 and 223.They are facing each other in the open book, but they belong to two different sheets. So, removing these two pages also means removing two sheets. Now, let’s put everything together.Pages 7 and 8 belong to one sheet.Pages 100 and 101 belong to two separate sheets.Pages 222 and 223 also belong to two separate sheets. That gives us:1 sheet for pages 7 and 8.2 sheets for pages 100 and 101.2 sheets for pages 222 and 223.In total, the boy removed five physical sheets of paper. Therefore, the correct answer is D: 5.This puzzle reminds us that sometimes the easiest-looking questions require us to think beyond the obvious answer. Before counting, we should understand exactly what we are counting!

Why 'Little Rascals' Star Bug Hall's GoFundMe is Stirring Up Emotions New

Why 'Little Rascals' Star Bug Hall's GoFundMe is Stirring Up Emotions

Brandon “Bug” Hall is reaching out for a helping hand as he and his wife prepare to welcome their sixth baby. The former child star, 41, launched a GoFundMe campaign on Thursday, November 5, in an attempt to raise funds to cover expenses associated with their expanding brood and to help finish setting up their new home. Hall shared via the GoFundMe campaign that he was initially hesitant to create the fundraiser but he and his wife, Jill Degroff, had reached the point where he felt it was necessary. “It's now six years since I self-cancelled, and I have avoided doing one of these in all that time. I always said this was my choice, and so I didn't want to offload the glorious burden of it unless there was no other choice. Well here we are,” Hall, who is best known for his role as Alfalfa in The Little Rascals, wrote. Hall shared that he and his family were working hard towards finding their feet in their new property in rural Arkansas but challenges had arisen. “We've made it onto the new land in record time, but I'm a few materials short of having things working right, and I've fallen a little behind on the few bills we have (phone, propane for the camper, and an unexpected electric hookup service fee),” he explained. Hall continued, “We're all overjoyed to be where we are, and we're even enjoying roughing it, but baby six is less than a month away, and I really need some help getting the last few things buttoned up beforehand. The father-of-five said he wanted to get everything sorted before his wife gives birth and acknowledge that he isn’t the only one doing it tough at the moment. “My hope is to finalize everything here over the next two weeks so I can take some work until the baby arrives,” he wrote. “Times are hard for everyone, and I'm no more deserving than anyone else, but I ask in your charity that you help where you can, whether monetarily, by sharing this, or by prayer and sacrifice for the Hall-Barnetts of the Holy Cross.” The GoFundMe’s stated goal was set at $2,000. At time of publication, Hall had received more than $9,000 from 102 donations. Hall’s campaign comes after he was arrested in Ohio in April after failing to appear in court, according to multiple reports. The actor missed a December 31, 2024, court date tied to an October 29, 2024, traffic citation for driving without liability insurance. He was charged with failure to appear. Hall left Hollywood behind in 2020 in a bid to embrace a self-described “radical Catholic extremist” lifestyle off-the-grid as he took a “vow of poverty,” according to the Daily Mail.

Why These Bell-Bottom Jeggings Are the Talk of the Town

Finding jeans that look great but also feel great can seem like an impossible task. Between stiff denim, restrictive waistbands and buttons that dig into your tummy every time you sit down, it’s hard not to just pull on leggings instead. However, the Rammus Bell-Bottom Jeggings just might offer the best of both worlds. These $33 Amazon pants look just like stylish flared jeans, but according to shoppers, they “feel like yoga pants.” There’s also another reason why these stretchy jeggings are earning rave reviews: their cleverly designed waistband. Instead of a traditional button-and-zipper closure, they feature a V-shaped crossover waist that creates a flattering cinched-in effect without squeezing your midsection. It’s a small detail that makes a huge difference, especially if you’ve ever spent an entire day counting down the minutes until you can change out of your jeans. Meanwhile, the flared legs create a retro-inspired silhouette that feels far more fashionable than everyday yoga pants. But while the bottoms are a classic, we’re strongly reconsidering our go-tos after seeing Jennifer Aniston wear a more interesting, fall-coded denim color. Her off-duty jeans lean more into a warm sandy hue that feels elevated […] This denim style is also more versatile than you might think. Pair these bottoms with an oversized turtleneck and ankle boots for a casual fall outfit, or add a cropped sweater and sneakers for an off-duty look. If you want to dress them up, try a tucked-in blouse, a structured blazer and heeled boots. The crossover waistband is especially flattering with shorter or fitted tops. “I absolutely love these jeans,” wrote one five-star Amazon shopper. “They feel like yoga pants but with a thicker, more structured denim material. As someone who’s curvy, I usually hate when jean buttons dig into my stomach, but these are so comfortable and don’t do that at all.” It’s also impossible not to fall in love with the fabric. “The material is incredibly soft and stretchy, feeling just like a high-quality pair of athletic leggings, yet they look completely like a stylish pair of street-wear bell bottoms,” wrote another five-star reviewer. “The V-shaped crossover waistband is insanely flattering, hugs my waist perfectly, and stays put without rolling down.
