JWoww's Emotional Reaction to Controversial RHOSLC Scene New

JWoww's Emotional Reaction to Controversial RHOSLC Scene

Jenni ‘JWoww’ Farley struggled to keep the tears back as she watched a “low blow” unfold while watching an episode of The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City. Posting via Instagram on Thursday, November 5, the Jersey Shore star, 41, shared a clip of RHOSLC which showed an altercation between Angie Katsanevas and Mary Cosby. During the heated exchange, Angie, 52, made reference to Mary’s son Robert Cosby Jr. (Robert Jr. died in February at age 23 following a suspected overdose.) “I'm trying so hard not to cry,” Farley said after watching the scene as she struggled to remain composed. She added, “What I just saw had to be the worst thing I have ever seen on reality TV. Regardless of what you think of anyone … that woman lost her child.” Farley further blasted the choice to use the death of someone’s child in an on-screen argument as “f**king bottom of the barrel, the most low blow, and I don't give a f**k.” “Britani [Bateman] the last episode, now Angie, this episode…” Farley fumed. Farley also contrasted the TV moment against the drama that often transpired on Jersey Shore, insisting that she and her costars ultimately had each other’s backs despite not always seeing eye to eye. https://www.instagram.com/p/DfYPOs8BTdI/ “This is why I believe Jersey Shore, at the end of the day, didn't rate the way that Bravo rates, and I understand it,” she said. “Drama sells, but one thing I know about my cast, regardless of how much production hated it, we protected each other, and we had our low blows, especially before children. We had our low blows [but] I have seen twice now, women attack a woman that lost her child.” In her post’s caption, Farley doubled down on her take that using Mary’s son’s death against her was too far. “Crucify me in the comments as you will, but I just started really getting into watching reality TV because it’s been my career and I’m always curious how other networks film... So I take shows like this with a grain of salt... but after watching this scene on #rhoslc my heart is broken for Mary… I don’t care what your opinion is… A child’s death is off the table,” Farley wrote. “This is not an attack on Andy [Cohen] or the producers, because they make damn good TV, but people really need to watch their words… Coming from someone who has learned so many tough lessons on television…” In February, Mary, 54, confirmed the death of her son via a statement to Us. “Our beloved son, Robert Jr., has been called home to the Lord,” Mary shared in a statement at the time. “Though our hearts ache, we take comfort in God’s promise and in knowing he is finally at peace. We are grateful for your prayers and trust in the Lord to carry us through this time of sorrow.” Robert Jr.’s addiction battle was featured on several seasons of RHOSLC, with viewers often applauding Mary for speaking candidly about her son’s struggles.

Golden Bachelorette's Joan Vassos and Chock Chapple's Surprise Split After Two Years New

Golden Bachelorette's Joan Vassos and Chock Chapple's Surprise Split After Two Years

The Golden Bachelorette's Joan Vassos and Chock Chapple announced their decision to end their engagement. “Two years ago, Chock and I took a leap of faith and got engaged during our season of The Golden Bachelorette, hoping we had found our forever," Vassos, 63, wrote via her Instagram Story on Friday, November 6. “We spent the last two years living what we hoped would be the beginning of our love story, sharing our families, amazing adventures, laughter, and supporting each other through challenging times.” Vassos then confirmed the former couple's decision to part ways. “Sadly, our journey hasn’t turned out the way we had hoped and we have decided to end our engagement,” she continued. “We truly want each other to be happy, and I’m grateful for the chapter we shared.” Chapple, also 63, later posted a similarly worded statement via his own Instagram Story. The pair found love during the inaugural season of ABC’s The Golden Bachelorette in 2024. After getting engaged during the finale, Vassos and Chapple chose not to rush into tying the knot — or moving in together. “We had no idea how hard it was to rent a place in New York and how busy we were going to be,” Vassos told Us in December 2025 about her ongoing search to find a home with Chapple. “We decided that we just wanted to be there to start the whole month of December because it’s just so magical in New York City.” At the time, Vassos admitted she had felt “pressure” from fans for her relationship to succeed. “If something happened with us, which nothing is going to happen, but if something did, it would be hard on the Golden franchise,” she added. “I’m not sure if I ever said this to anybody, but I felt a lot of pressure to be successful [as the Golden Bachelorette] because [The Golden Bachelor season 1’s Gerry Turner and Theresa Nist] had just broken up right before I started filming, like, within months. And I felt a lot of pressure that if I wasn’t successful, if I didn’t find somebody, that it would be the end of it. I felt super responsible. I got lucky.” More recently, Vassos and Chapple were asked on social media when they planned to get married. "We get that [question] all the time,” Chapple wrote via Instagram in February. “In 2025, Joan had a big wedding for her oldest son, Nick. And then she’s got another one getting married this year, so we’ve elected to not compete with them. Let them have their year.” He added: “You might look for something in 2027.” Joan — who shares sons Nicholas, 36, and Luke, 29, and daughters Erica, 33, and Allison, 30, with late husband John Vassos — agreed with her then-fiancé, adding, “Yeah, ’27. Hopefully, nobody else will get married, but I think you have a son who possibly could, so we’ll see!” She continued: “We have grown kids and they just happen to be falling into that part of their lives too. We'll get married sometime when our kids aren't getting married."

Marco Rubio's Future: Why 2028 Presidential Buzz Won't Go Away

Politics exclusive details See more of our coverage in your search results. Secretary of State Marco Rubio says he is staying put as speculation swirls about his 2028 ambitions, which he declined to address. The top US diplomat and national security adviser dismissed reports by multiple outlets Thursday indicating he is eyeing an exit from the Trump administration – to potentially prepare to launch a presidential bid – in the wake of the brutal midterm elections for the GOP. Rubio told the New York Times that working for President Trump for the duration of his second term has “always been my plan.” Rubio denied he’s considering resigning from the Trump administration. REUTERS“I don’t know where these things come from, to be honest with you,” he said of the reports.“I love the work I’m doing,” Rubio added. “And plus I always laugh when they say he’s going to leave his job. I go, ‘Which one?’”White House and State Department officials were equally adamant that Rubio isn’t leaving his post.Bloomberg News reported that Rubio has discussed the possibility of stepping down with White House officials and that he and his advisers are going over future options. “This fake news is nothing more than a fabricated hoax being peddled by anonymous sources with no factual information,” White House spokesperson Beni Rae Harmony said in a statement. “Secretary Rubio is a fearless fighter for President Trump and the MAGA movement.”Meanwhile, GOP sources and UK government figures told The Independent they view Rubio as the leading candidate to succeed President Trump and expect the secretary of state to resign in an effort to “distance himself from the Iran war.”Assistant Secretary of State for Global Public Affairs Dylan Johnson called the report “completely baseless fake news from made-up anonymous ‘sources.'” “We look forward to revisiting this ‘report’ in the coming weeks to celebrate yet another humiliating own goal by The Independent,” Johnson added. Rubio works closely with Trump’s chief of staff, Susie Wiles, and Vice President JD Vance to carry out Trump’s agenda. Jim Lo Scalzo/UPI/ShutterstockRubio, who was defeated by Trump in the 2016 presidential primary, is indeed viewed as a serious future GOP presidential contender but has unfinished business at the State Department and isn’t expected to depart anytime soon, multiple sources told The Post. The former senator’s plan from day one of the Trump administration was to stay on board all four years, according to a senior administration official. Rubio has even said he won’t take a vacation, the official noted, only halfway joking.Inside the corridors of the West Wing, Rubio remains a power player. He has an office next to Vice President JD Vance and a powerful ally in chief of staff Susie Wiles, whom he’s known for years as they both rose in Florida Republican politics.Rubio would be able to raise a significant amount of campaign cash if he were to leave the Trump administration to launch a 2028 White House bid, sources said. Getty ImagesIf it ever came down to a choice between Vance and Rubio, Wiles would pick Rubio, say those that know them. Wearing the double hat of secretary of state and national security adviser, Rubio is in the room for every national security conversation, alongside Wiles and Vance.  The trio have a good working relationship and are often in lockstep. He spends most of his work time in the West Wing, knowing in this White House, proximity to Trump is the proximity to power. Another factor that may keep Rubio from leaving the administration is that his foreign policy goals have yet to be accomplished: the main one being Cuba. The son of Cuban immigrants, his longtime goal has been to see the island rid itself of its communist regime, which Trump has hinted he could do.Rubio wouldn’t be expected to depart until his family’s homeland is free. “The midterms blew up Vance’s [2028 prospects] and Rubio’s stock is soaring,” Dan Eberhart, a GOP donor, said. “I don’t think he can go home to Miami until he’s toppled the regime in Cuba.” Eberhart and other sources noted Vance, who is also the Republican National Committee’s finance chair, can raise money from 2028 on the job, while Rubio cannot, due to the constraints on political activities a secretary of state can engage in. “I guarantee you, the moment Marco would say, ‘I’m going to resign and I want to run,’ he’ll raise so much money it would make your head spin,” another Florida GOP source said. The source noted Rubio has been clear he’ll stand back if Vance is in for 2028, but said the disastrous midterms had put Vance in a “pickle — to put it lightly” and intensified calls for Rubio to jump in the fray. “My guess is that he’ll be president one day, whether it’s before JD or after,” a Republican operative close to the White House said. However, a top Republican strategist indicated that waiting for 2032 if Vance runs and loses in 2028 “has always been his plan.”Rubio’s plan is stay on as secretary of state for all four years of Trump’s second term. REUTERS“He was already not gonna run, but after Tuesday night there is zero chance he’s gonna run — like less than zero,” the source said. In his interview with the New York Times, Rubio declined to answer questions about his possible 2028 plans. “I literally will not talk about 2028 anymore,” he said. “I just won’t do it.”Rubio is slated to deliver his first major speech post-midterms next Friday at the Federalist Society’s National Lawyers Convention in Washington, DC.

Karissa Shannon's Bold Plan to Raise Her Son Unlike Hugh Hefner New

Karissa Shannon's Bold Plan to Raise Her Son Unlike Hugh Hefner

Karissa Shannon is determined her son will never be like Hugh Hefner. After sharing shocking details of her time as a Playboy Playmate, the Girls Next Door alum, 37, told Page Six on Thursday, November 5, that she was now engaged and pregnant with a boy. She told the publication she wanted to use her past experience to teach her son, who she plans to name Genesis, to be “gentleman.” “I want him to be opposite of whatever Hef was portraying,” Karissa told the outlet. “I want him to be a gentleman, and I want him to have manners, and I want him to lead with his heart.” Karissa is keeping the identity of her fiancé private but revealed that he is a “simple, blue-collar guy” from Windsor, Ontario and praised him for being so supportive of her past. “He’s sweet, and he loves me deeply and unconditionally. He’s quick to defend me in comments [on social media] and supports my career and all my projects. He’s proud of who I am,” she said. Shannon’s comments about her parenting plans for her son come after she detailed eye-opening experiences with Hefner, who died in 2017 at age 91. “He would try and force me and my sister [Kristina Shannon] to have sex with each other,” Karissa claimed to Page Six in an interview published on Wednesday, November 4. “Me and my sister never actually did it together. So that’s a statement I want to say. Like, really, we never, never had incest[uous] sex. Like, we never did that. We faked it.” Hefner’s widow, Crystal Harris, previously accused her late husband of “starting to try and shove” Kristina and Karissa’s heads “onto each other’s vaginas to get them to engage with each other sexually.” “That is incest. That is disgusting,” Harris, 40, claimed on the October 27 episode of the “Lisa Guerrero Unleashed” podcast. “I didn’t want them to have to do something like that with each other. So that was very, very hard.” Karissa and Kristina both lived in the Playboy estate from the ages of 18 to 20, but they don’t see the experience as a positive one. Speaking to Us in July 2025, Karissa shared what they would say to the magazine mogul if he was still alive and they had the opportunity. “I would just ask him why he took advantage of us. We wouldn’t have to have a sit-down. I don’t think there’s an apology that he could issue [to] us that would take back the trauma that he’s done to us,”  Karissa said at the time. Echoing her sister’s sentiment, Kristina added, “[I would just say], ‘You really did f*** us up and take advantage of us.’ I’d be asking why he thought that was OK.”

Russell Brand's Courtroom Reaction Sparks Outcry After Guilty Verdict New

Russell Brand's Courtroom Reaction Sparks Outcry After Guilty Verdict

Russell Brand appeared to downplay his rape and sexual assault conviction shortly after the verdict was read. “I’m good, I’m good,” Brand, 51, mouthed to his defense team on Thursday, November 5, after he was found guilty of one count of rape and three counts of sexual assault, per the BBC. According to the outlet, Brand walked at a “steady pace” and showed “little emotion” as he exited the courtroom. The actor’s father, Ron Brand, had a little more to say after the trial, telling BBC that he was “bemused and shocked” by the verdicts. "I just didn’t expect this — it’s wrong," Ron said. "It’s devastating." Us has reached out to Russell’s legal team for comment. Following a two-day deliberation, a jury at London’s Southwark Crown Court delivered a verdict on Thursday, finding Russell guilty of four of his seven charges. The Get Him to the Greek actor was convicted of one count of rape and three counts of sexual assault. He was acquitted on two separate counts of rape and one count of an attempted indecent assault. (The attempted indecent assault charge was reduced from indecent assault during the trial.) Russell was remanded into custody following the verdict and awaits his sentencing, which will take place on Monday, November 9. “Russell Brand was predatory and used his celebrity status to commit sexual crimes,” senior crown prosecutor in the London Rape and Serious Sexual Assault Unit David Roberts said in a statement after court. “He was a manipulator with an insatiable desire to get what he wanted regardless of whether consent was given or not.” Roberts continued, "As his career took off, he seized opportunities to assault the women around him. Although his tactics varied, at the centre of every assault was an abuse of power and sexual greed, with a complete disregard for the impact of his actions.” The prosecutor added, "I would like to thank all the women in this case for their courage in coming forward and seeing this sexual abuser brought to justice." Multiple women accused Russell of sexual assault, rape and emotional abuse following alleged incidents spanning from 1999 to 2013. He vigorously denied their claims. Russell previously spoke out about the allegations in a September 2023 video, saying, “I don’t mind [the media] using my books and my stand-up to talk about my promiscuous, consensual conduct in the past. What I seriously refute are these very, very serious criminal allegations.” The comedian explained, “Also, it’s worth mentioning that there are witnesses whose evidence directly contradicts the narratives that these two mainstream media outlets are trying to construct, apparently, in what seems to me to be a coordinated attack.” If you have experienced sexual assault, call the National Sexual Assault Telephone Hotline at 1-800-656-4673 for confidential support.

Michael Crichton's Widow Moves Forward with Lawsuit Against 'The Pitt' for Resembling 'ER' New

Michael Crichton's Widow Moves Forward with Lawsuit Against 'The Pitt' for Resembling 'ER'

A court has ruled that famed medical drama The Pitt is similar enough to ER to allow Michael Crichton’s widow to move forward with a lawsuit. A three-judge panel unanimously denied an appeal from Warner Bros. Television on Wednesday, November 4, which argued that The Pitt and ER are unrelated to each other. “There are clear and numerous similarities between The Pitt and ER; where those similarities lie, on a ladder of abstraction protecting only the more specific expressions, is a matter of ‘degree,’” the court ruled, per NBC News. “Making favorable inferences in Roadrunner’s favor, as we must, we find the details here suffice for a prima facie case.” The appeals court, however, dismissed a claim against The Pitt creators Noah Wyle, John Wells and R. Scott Gemmill. The court ruled that the group was not aware that they could be violating contractual rights with Crichton, one of the creators of ER. Crichton, who died in 2008, had a contract with Warner Bros. Television that included a “frozen rights” provision preventing the studio from making any spinoffs or reboots without his approval. Michael’s widow, Sherri Crichton, filed a lawsuit in August 2024 before the premiere of The Pitt. She alleged that Wells and Wyle initially had hopes to reboot ER but did not receive her permission, thus creating The Pitt. Warner Bros. Television then filed a motion to throw out the suit under California’s anti-SLAPP statute, which aims to protect individuals from free speech related lawsuits. The motion was denied last year by judge Wendy Chang, who decided that Sherri had enough evidence to move forward. With the ruling on Wednesday, the lawsuit will now proceed at the trial court. “I am deeply gratified by the Court of Appeal decision and look forward to discovery and to our case, which affects writers, creators, and their families and estates, being presented to a jury,” Sherri said in a statement to Deadline. ER aired from 1994 to 2009, centering around the life of an emergency room in a fictionalized version of Chicago’s Cook County Hospital. More than a decade later, The Pitt premiered on Max and was described as “a realistic examination of the challenges facing healthcare workers in today’s America as seen through the lens of the frontline heroes working in a modern-day hospital in Pittsburgh.” In The Pitt, the 15 episodes showcase 15 hours of one shift in the emergency room. “John, Max and Warner Brothers were on board to try to make use of this new platform of streaming, to see whether or not we could tell the story in a visually more arresting way than we did back in the ’90s,” Wyle explained to TVLine in January 2025. “It is a more photorealistic way than we were ever able to do, and in a more organic, performance-based way. Because you’re no longer to standards and practices and language [barriers], you really can paint with all the colors on the palette. The question isn’t ‘What can you show?’ Instead it is, ‘What should you show, in discretion and taste?'”
