Ricki Lake Reveals Rosie O'Donnell's Surprising Change of Heart on Facelifts New

Ricki Lake Reveals Rosie O'Donnell's Surprising Change of Heart on Facelifts

Ricki Lake is opening up about her longtime pal Rosie O'Donnell recently getting a facelift after previously being "a little judgy" about her friends having them. "Rosie is my really good friend and we talk all the time. She was judgy," Lake, 58, revealed on The Weekend View on Saturday, October 31. "She would admit it. She was a little judgy about me and my friends that went to this doctor and had these amazing results." Lake has confirmed that she underwent a "deep plane lower face and neck lift along with a mild co2 laser" from Dr. Allen Foulad in Beverly Hills in 2024, noting that she'd decided to have the procedure after losing "a lot of weight." The former daytime talk show host commemorated two years since her facelift this past July by expressing satisfaction with the "remarkable, natural, and long-lasting" results. In a May Substack post, O'Donnell, 64, acknowledged that she'd once felt "very strongly about facelifts" — though not on a "moral" basis — before going under the knife for a lower deep-plane facelift in January. Discussing O'Donnell's rejuvenated look on The Weekend View, Lake remembered that her friend often questioned why women felt the "need" to have cosmetic surgeries. "Sure enough, she lost a bunch of weight on [GLP-1 drug] Mounjaro and she went and had it done," Lake noted. "She looks incredible." O'Donnell joked in her Substack essay that she'd "assigned [herself] as head of all women who would never" have a facelift before she started rethinking her stance. The former Rosie O'Donnell Show host shared that her 13-year-old child Clay initially discouraged her from getting a facelift, assuring her that she'd "earned [her] wrinkles." That comment ultimately helped convince O'Donnell that she needed to teach Clay that bodies do not "belong to an idea." "Right before I went under, I grabbed my doctor’s hand and said, ‘I will never say, ‘God, I wish you did more.’” And I meant it,” she recalled. “I didn’t want to become that voice — the one that keeps moving the goalpost, never satisfied, the one that turns their own face into a problem one can never quite solve. I wanted a limit. I wanted to still be me, just … less haunted. And I do look like me — A slightly more well-rested, emotionally stable version of me.” O'Donnell subsequently told reporters on the 2026 Tony Awards red carpet in June that she probably will not have any further cosmetic procedures for the time being. “Authenticity is the goal in these days and times, and people are lying about everything all day to the American public. It’s very depressing to me and unsettling, and I think all that matters is truth and love,” she explained. “And so, I wanted to be truthful and say all the complicated feelings I had about it.”

Why Europe's Small Museums Are on High Alert After Recent Heists New

Why Europe's Small Museums Are on High Alert After Recent Heists

PARMA, Italy, Oct 31 (Reuters) – Two men wearing head torches climbed through a forced-open window at the Fondazione Magnani Rocca museum near Parma on the night of March 22 and calmly lifted artworks by Cézanne, Renoir and Matisse from the walls.Within three minutes, they had passed the works, valued at about €9 million ($10 million), to an accomplice and fled. At the museum’s main gate, a fourth man discharged a fire extinguisher when the alarm sounded, distracting the custodian.“Whatever could go wrong, did,” said Stefano Roffi, director of the private foundation that runs the museum.French CRS riot police officers walk near the glass Pyramid of the Louvre Museum in Paris, France, on Oct. 27, 2025. REUTERSThe raid was one of a string of museum thefts in France, Italy and Spain since last year’s heist at the Louvre in Paris, raising concerns that criminals are increasingly targeting smaller institutions with fewer resources to protect valuable collections.“This is where we see the ‘Louvre effect,'” said Marc Balcells, a Barcelona-based researcher specializing in crimes against cultural heritage. “If the Louvre was so easy to rob, just imagine a tiny museum in a rural area or a smaller town.”Works by Antonello da Messina vanished from a museum in his Sicilian hometown in August, while two Renoirs were stolen from Cagnes-sur-Mer on the French Riviera the following month. In Spain, thieves stole hundreds of historic gold coins from museums in Badajoz and Albacete and made off with a Bronze Age treasure in Villena, near Alicante.A 2024 survey by France’s Culture Ministry found only one in four cultural institutions had an emergency and risk-prevention plan, while nearly half lacked video surveillance.Who checks when the alarm goes off?A French parliamentary report in May said museums lacked the resources and preparation to adequately protect artworks and artifacts.Art historian Claudio Strinati looks at newspapers reporting the theft of three paintings during an interview in Rome on March 30, 2026. APIn Italy, the challenge is amplified by the way the country’s cultural heritage is spread across hundreds of towns and institutions, a legacy of centuries of fragmented rule.“That is also what makes our system distinctive: works remain in the places where they were created,” said Antonella Pinna, president of the Italian committee of the International Council of Museums. “But we need to make life harder for criminals.”The council worked with Italy’s Culture Ministry and the Carabinieri on museum security guidelines published in 2015, but Pinna said technology alone was not enough.A scanned image shows “Cup and Plate of Cherries” by Paul Cézanne, one of three artworks recovered by Italian Carabinieri police. via REUTERS“Odalisque on the Terrace” by Henri Matisse, shown in a scanned image, was one of three stolen artworks recovered by Italian Carabinieri police. via REUTERS“If an alarm goes off, someone has to make sure it is checked,” she said.In a narrow street in the Tuscan town of Sansepolcro, the civic museum displays four works by Renaissance master Piero della Francesca, born just steps away in the 15th century. The Louvre theft “affected us deeply because cultural heritage is central to Sansepolcro’s identity. REUTERSUnlike gold or jewelry, which can be broken up or melted down, a well-known painting is difficult to turn into quick cash. REUTERSCelebrated works such as those by Renoir can rarely be sold openly, Pinna said. Instead, stolen art is more likely to be hidden, used as leverage in ransom attempts or offered privately.Even when works are recovered, museums can face significant costs linked to investigations, recovery efforts and upgraded security. The recent thefts have also reignited debate about insurance.A visitor takes a picture in the Apollo Gallery at the Louvre Museum in Paris on July 22, 2026. REUTERSMost major state-backed museums in Western Europe rely on government indemnity schemes rather than commercial cover, but some institutions have begun reassessing the risks, said Filippo Guerrini-Maraldi, a private wealth and fine art insurance specialist at broker Howden Specialty.“And for the first time, really, in my 40-year career, I’ve seen art theft now becoming more of a major, major risk. It was always the minor risk,” he said.Insurers are also turning to technology. Beazley is exploring how AI can be used to analyze CCTV footage to identify suspicious behavior in museums and galleries, helping security staff spot threats sooner, said fine art underwriter Dishni Mahendran.Security vs. accessFor museum directors and cultural officials, the challenge is how to tighten security without cutting collections off from local communities or diminishing the visitor experience.Security guards watch as a visitor arrives at the reopening of the Apollo Gallery at the Louvre Museum in Paris on July 22, 2026. via REUTERS“Ultimately, museums must remain easy to access,” Imbert said. “People should be able to enter without having to pass through 50 security checks.”Julien Volper, a conservator at Belgium’s Africa Museum, said particularly vulnerable treasures should only be displayed when adequate security measures are in place.“I’m not saying that’s the ultimate solution, but it seems better than displaying replicas,” he said. “We’re not at Disneyland.”French soldiers from the Sentinelle security plan patrol past the glass Pyramid at the Louvre Museum in Paris, France, on Oct. 30, 2025. Five Moldovan nationals were arrested in connection with the theft.Investigators said wiretaps indicated the suspects had unsuccessfully tried to find buyers in Eastern Europe and Russia. The works have since returned to the museum in what Roffi called a “homecoming party.”“The theft triggered an outpouring of solidarity in Italy and abroad,” he said. The museum now has round-the-clock guards funded by a local cheese consortium.“It was seen not simply as a theft from a museum, but as an attack on art as a shared cultural heritage.”

Jordon Hudson's New Romance Sparks Buzz After Quiet Split with Bill Belichick New

Jordon Hudson's New Romance Sparks Buzz After Quiet Split with Bill Belichick

Jordon Hudson is reportedly already dating following her silent split from former New England Patriots head coach Bill Belichick. According to a Friday, October 30, report from TMZ citing people close to the former beauty queen, Hudson, 25, is already “seeing other people” after her breakup with Belichick, 74, last year. The insiders did not know Hudson’s current relationship status now that she has reportedly reentered the dating pool. Neither the current UNC football coach nor the adult cheerleader have publicly commented on the status of their often scrutinized age-gap relationship at the time of publication, though sources told TMZ the former couple remain “committed to their business partnerships and remain close friends.” Us has reached out to reps for Belichick and Hudson for comment but did not immediately hear back. Multiple outlets, including TMZ and People, reported earlier on Friday that the pair had privately parted ways last year. Hudson has even been a fixture at UNC home games and Belichick’s scouting trips this fall in the wake of their silent breakup. Two staffers inside the UNC football office anonymously confirmed to USA Today Sports on Friday that they were “not aware” the pair had privately called it quits. (Us has reached out to UNC for comment.) The pair met on a flight in 2021 after the legendary NFL coach signed one of Hudson’s textbooks. After their chance encounter turned romantic, the couple often had to defend not only their 49-year age difference but Hudson’s close ties to her then-boyfriend’s career. “Let’s take a deeper dive into the hot topic of the day: LOVE,” Hudson began a February 2025 post via Instagram. “‘What constitutes love?’ or, ‘What makes someone worthy of loving?’ are questions that require a deep analysis and could possibly enable one to understand the romances that they may not understand nor relate to.” She continued at the time, “Love does not look the same every time you see it. People and relationships, like everything else, are impermanent; even though love is eternal. Love is not to be judged. It is never OK to harass or abuse a person based upon who they love.” Belichick later told the Wall Street Journal that his then-girlfriend was merely more of a day-to-day help than a person deeply integrated into his professional life. “When I took the job [at UNC] it was December, and at that time I was doing five TV shows, the radio show, I had a book coming out,” Belichick said in a September interview. “I had a lot of other things going on when I took the job. I sent an email when I got here and I said, ‘Can you please forward any requests to Jordon about my personal appearances so that I can work and coordinate them outside the university?’” He added, “Didn’t have anything to do with the university. Well, that was leaked [and] released as ‘Jordon’s involved in every single thing that I do and she’s copied on every email.’ That’s just a flat-out lie.”

Bill Maher's Hilarious Take on Dining with Trump and Taylor Swift New

Bill Maher's Hilarious Take on Dining with Trump and Taylor Swift

See more of our coverage in your search results. Talk show host Bill Maher responded to President Trump’s epic 1,318-word rant calling him a “total loser” – comparing dining with the commander in chief to dating Taylor Swift.“I mean, eating with Trump is like dating Taylor Swift. It’s a lot of laughs at the time, but later on, they’re tearing you a new a–hole,” the “Real Time with Bill Maher” host said on his HBO show Friday night, a nod to the singer’s notorious propensity to shiv her exes in song. “He went off on me like Kelly Clarkson in a toy store,” Maher said, referring to the infamous, headline-grabbing public tantrum inside a Brooklyn toy store. “Real Time” host Bill Maher responded to President Trump’s 1,300 word rant blasting him after their White House dinner. Real Time with Bill Maher/YoutubeMaher’s Oct. 15 dinner at the White House also included singer Kid Rock and ESPN sports analyst Stephen A. Smith. Last Sunday, Trump wrote on his Truth Social: “Let’s talk about this COMPLETE AND TOTAL LOSER, Bill Maher. He’s got a Low Rated Show on equally Low Rated HBO, which was once, long ago, a Network of Quality and Excitement — But that’s all gone. It’s not ‘HOT’ anymore! On Friday night’s show, Maher said: “Look, I don’t want it to be this way. The whole point of having these dinners was talk, disagree, but listen, which he does in person, but don’t hate each other. And then I go back to my job here and then the heartaches begin.”Maher was handed a printed copy of Trump’s Truth Social post, and then began to “address a few of the allegations.”President Donald Trump called Maher a “loser” among other things after twice hosting him at the White House. ZUMAPRESS.com“It begins, ‘Let’s talk about the complete and total loser Bill Maher.’ You got me there. I’ll own that,” Maher deadpanned. “What pisses me off,” Maher continued, is that Trump, “doesn’t even notice what I say,” referring to a line in the Truth Social post where the president wrote, “[Maher] doesn’t think it was a good thing to take the Nuclear Weapon away from Iran, which shows you that he is not very smart.” “Real Time” then played clips where Maher agreed with Trump on the issue. The late-night funnyman continued: “Page two, he talks about how I call him incessantly. I’ve never called you, you call me. I’d be afraid to call you. You’re the president. I think you’re too busy. Well, plainly not.”Maher compared dining at the White House to dating Taylor Swift. AP Photo/Jordan StraussHe called the 1,318-word post, “Longest ever — kind of a flex.” “Dining at the White House is the opposite of the Cheesecake Factory. After you leave, they review you,” he joked. Trump’s takedown was apparently in response to Maher’s monologue on his Oct. 23 show, in which he said, “It’s just a little odd that Trump keeps gushing about men’s bodies, and how handsome they are, and their jawlines, and their asses, their physiques.”“I’m a little hurt. I was there for dinner for four hours last week, and not a peep. Nothing,” he added.

Tovah Feldshuh Addresses Set Rumors Amid Palestine Debate New

Tovah Feldshuh Addresses Set Rumors Amid Palestine Debate

Nobody Wants This star Tovah Feldshuh is addressing rampant speculation regarding the cast’s behind-the-scenes dynamics amid their differing opinions over the ongoing Israel-Palestine conflict. “Tensions are NOT RISING. Profound differences of opinion are,” Feldshuh, 77, wrote via Threads on Friday, October 30, addressing rumors the cast is feuding. “Please do not conflate the two — And none of it  will be brought to the set.” She continued, “I deeply enjoy filming NWT and hope we are chosen to go on for a fourth season.” Feldshuh stars as Bina, the mother of rabbi Noah (Adam Brody), on all three seasons of the hit Netflix romantic comedy. The series, cocreated by sisters Erin Foster and Sara Foster, chronicles the interfaith relationship between Noah and agnostic podcaster Joanne (Kristen Bell). (A fourth season has not been greenlit at the time of publication.) Before season 3 premiered earlier this month, Brody, 46, made a rare comment about his thoughts on the Israel-Palestine conflict. “I have spoken a lot about it privately. I haven't spoken much about it publicly,” the O.C. alum told GQ in a September profile. “Put me down as thinking it's a genocide. Put me down as wanting a free Palestine.” He continued, “It's awful that it's taken so much death and misery, but it does feel like it's reaching a breaking point that it should have a while ago. I'm hopeful that another administration can really do some good and correct some of these policies that are helping that situation be as awful as it is.” Feldshuh, for her part, staunchly disagreed with her TV son. “To accuse the Jewish people of genocide is wild,” she told the New York Post earlier this month. “It’s right out of [Adolf] Hitler’s playbook. You take the victim and you make the victim the perpetrator. [It] makes a difference to the [Jewish] community. I believe that the perseverance of the existence of the state of Israel is crucial to the well-being of the democratic world and of the free world. Of course, Israel needs the United States, [but] the United States needs Israel, believe you me.” Feldshuh, who didn’t mention Brody by name during her Post interview, further stated that no political conversations had taken place on the set of Nobody Wants This. “My job, as Bina but also as Tovah, is to love the people on set at my place of work, to be kind,” she said, noting she will “switch channels” from advocacy in order to “do [her] job.”

Jamie Otis and Doug Hehner's Emotional Decision: The Vasectomy Plan

Married at First Sight couple Jamie Otis and Doug Hehner are finally ready to talk about vasectomies. “I have to take my IUD out [because] progesterone seems to make me crazy, not saying that to be silly either. I literally feel insane. I tried birth control and that was even worse,” Jamie, 40, wrote via Instagram on Friday, October 30, giving a candid update on her reproductive health. “Soooo I think Doug’s getting a vasectomy. And even typing this my heart aches … it feels so permanent. Why does that hurt my heart so bad?!” Jamie and Doug, 43, welcomed daughter Henley and son Hendrix in 2017 and 2020, respectively. They expanded their family again in 2024, welcoming twin sons Huxley and Hawkins. In the years after welcoming their twins, Jamie and Doug debated whether they were done having kids. (The couple have also faced fertility challenges, including multiple pregnancy losses.) “It feels like we are truly closing our door on having more kids and it’s got me so sad,” Jamie acknowledged on Friday. “But why?? I have four beautiful children I love so much. Why does it feel like I’m supposed to have more?” While Jamie was admittedly upset about closing the door on welcoming another baby, she noted that Doug is definitively “done.” “I would never ask him to have more. I know in my mind we should be done. I want to spend time with each of my children,” she wrote. “I feel so spread thin as it is so realistically we really shouldn’t have more [because] it doesn’t feel like it’d be fair to any of them, yet knowing we will never have another makes me so sad.” She concluded, “I’m so sad to say, but I think we are officially done having babies. I’m going to mourn it and try to move on [because] it seems it's the right thing to do for our family.” Jamie also updated footage from an emotional conversation she had with Doug, discussing his impending vasectomy. “It’s not like the door’s fully closed,” he said, soothing a tearful Jamie. “There’s always ways around it [like] a reversal [where doctors] dig into the testicles to find ‘em.” Making her peace with Doug’s decision, Jamie also wants to savor her days as a family of six. “We have two kids already, so we know the mayhem that comes with a baby,” Otis previously told Us in October 2024 of the twins’ arrival. “Expecting twins this time, I knew we had better be prepared for them. We fully anticipate it’s going to get a bit chaotic from time to time with two newborns, so I wanted a very calm and serene space for their nursery.”
